Cheney sucks!

He should be tried as a war criminal

Darlene of 7:04PM September 07, 2011

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."

-- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."

-- Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force -- if necessary -- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."

-- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002

"He has systematically violated, over the course of the past 11 years, every significant UN resolution that has demanded that he disarm and destroy his chemical and biological weapons, and any nuclear capacity. This he has refused to do"

-- Rep. Henry Waxman (D, CA), Oct. 10, 2002

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."

-- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

Before-during Bush, Democrat leaders was "beating the drums"...

Bill Hedges of MO 8:50PM August 31, 2011

Remember what YOU DID SAY. I am not paraphrasing, I am quoting YOU:

"to cut to the chase,it was cheney and his crew who were out beating the drums of war AFTER he and bush were in office.that is a fact which not you or anyone can change.sorry but try as you will, you cann;t hang that on the democrats".

Democrats were "beating the drums"__ Before Bush. President Clinton, Senator Clinton, Al Gore, T. Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, etc.. I provided their quotes.

Time for you to exit. Is your style...

Bill Hedges of MO 8:39PM August 31, 2011

hey mr. bill, you seem to have a selective memory.lets recap,it was bush and darth cheney who were at the helm, and gave the orders to invade iraq.it was not the dems.try as you will, you can not unring that bell.

this is how it will go down in the history books!

"Involvement" by President Bill Clinton, Senator H. Clinton, Al Gore, T. Kennedy, etc..

It can not be said, because not true, that, as brucetee said:

"to cut to the chase,it was cheney and his crew who were out beating the drums of war AFTER he and bush were in office.that is a fact which not you or anyone can change.sorry but try as you will, you cann;t hang that on the democrats".

Bill Hedges of MO 6:30PM August 31, 2011

when the last troop leaves that sandbox, better known as iraq, and the final chapter is written about the u.s. involvement in an unnecessary conflict,in this case iraq.history will not be kind to the neocon war mongers.

at present,we have cheney, rumsfield and others, all rushing to their publishers to come out with books to shade and paper over the truth about their involvement and the reasons that they pushed the u.s. into this debacle.

the reasons that these people gave,WMD,al qaeda ect.are now, and will continue to be washed away by the tides of truth.this will also futher cast a negative light on these neocons.

bruce b of NV 5:02PM August 31, 2011

I'll bring up my favorite one comment of yours. One you were so animate about:

"to cut to the chase,it was cheney and his crew who were out beating the drums of war AFTER he and bush were in office.that is a fact which not you or anyone can change.sorry but try as you will, you cann;t hang that on the democrats".

Long before Bush, WMD in Iraq was talked about by Democrats. My link has many such quotes. Why in the world would they think that if our intelligence network did not tell them so. I remember nuclear grade pots and pans being intercepted in route to that Country:

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."

--President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."

-Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

So does brucetee think Chaney PUSHED these Democrats to CONFORM to Bush. That they did not see how U.N. inspectors was being treated & kicked out ? Well when convenient for brucetee, SURE... And Hillary was not informed, as others were by intelligence in Congress, that waterbroarding was going on. brucetee may believe that too...

Bill Hedges of MO 3:33PM August 31, 2011

looking close up at darth cheney there;s a common theme,he;s another neocon who,at the drop of a hat, is ready to involve the united states in a military conflict.the thing about cheney is that when he had his chance to serve, five deferments dick always had some specious reason fo staying behind.

you gotta give old darth this,he;s a champ at beating the war drums.

bruce b of NV 1:16PM August 31, 2011

i cant believe this!! me and my sister just got two i-pads for $42.77 each and a $50 amazon card for $9. the stores want to keep this a secret and they dont tell you. go here..... ( Bidsget ) . (com)

He has never cared what the American people wanted and is a prime example of what is wrong with politics today. But then again, he is a example of complete utter corruption in my opinion. The no bid Haliburton contracts would be a prime example. If Republicans are so concerned with Americans paying less taxes then why give no bid contracts out to former employers? Clearly putting the jobs up for bid would save tax payers money. It's because it is all a act and the Republican party does what it always does: takes advantage of the frustration of the American people for it's own personal gain while failing to deliver.

This man should be facing charges as should GWB. You want to talk treason Rick Perry? Lets do that. And lets hold the real traitors accountable shall we? Oh don't get me wrong. I don't support how Obama blames Bush/Cheney constantly. But I hate Bush/Cheney because they failed us and couldn't give a rats a$$.
