GOP Could Regret Pushing Elizabeth Warren Into a Senate Run

I'd definitely vote for Warren if she runs and Brown doesn't change some of his opinions. I'm a converted moderate republican, registered as an independent a few years ago and given the slant of the GOP today, I could not see myself supporting any GOP candidate that has signed on to the Grover Norquist blood oath. Yes, in the past decade, spending has gone through the roof, but remember when the bulk of the spending occurred and who spent it. Just look at our precious but bloated defense budget... we could cut it by 50% and still be the number one defense budget in the world. Do we really need to spend more than double what number #2 China spends? Our budget is bigger than the combined budgets of number #2-#30!

Warren is very savvy when it comes to spending, and especially when it comes to budgeting and consumer financial issues. I'd like to see her run but unlike Martha Coakley, she will have to be very visible and informative in her campaign. If Scott Brown came out and said Norquist's mantra of no new taxes is bunk and supported the notion that we do need to step up the revenue stream with changes in the taxes and elimination of subsides... then this would get very interesting for me and other independents.

it's been non-stop republicans might/could/possibly/perhaps hurt themselves this, might/could/possibly/perhaps hurt themselves that, and might/could/possibly/perhaps hurt themselves the other from the dynamic USNWR blog-singing duo of Susan Milligan and Robert Scheissslinger.

Why don't the two just cut to the chase and sing:

...

...

...

...

When-you-wish-upon-a-star...

Or better yet:

...

...

...

...

Some-where, there's a place for us...

Or if the two REALLY want to bring the house down and leave no dry eye:

...

...

...

...

MEM-REEEEEEEEEEEEEE, all a-lone in the MOON-LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT...

Too bad the two can't hop into a time machine and jump back enough to forewarn Obama that he would blow his foot off in trying to palm Specter the Defector off on the people of PA while sending bag-man Bill C. to... 'career-counsel/mentor' Sestak -- and wind up with republican Senator Toomey instead.

Hence, the continuing update that will follow Milligan:

...

...

...

...

follow her wherever sheeeeeeeeeeeeeee may go:

War Powers 90 plus a whole bunch of additional days:

Dem-shill bloggers Milligan & Scheissslinger continue to be a wishin'... and hopin'... and thinkin'... and prayin'... that Obama's lawyer-shopped non-war Libyan war won't get in his re-electme way next year. If they could actually see his lawyer-shopped non-war Libyan war that is. Which they can't. 'Cause that's not what dem-shill bloggers get paid to do.

1. “all your ranting does not disprove anything is said.people do have a right to their opinions, not just you! ”

When you says things like Newt was fired from House. You have right to your wrong opinion sure. Who is stopping you from expressing your opinion ? Give me his/her name !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want you to express your opinion more. Stop skipping articles.

2. “as to your comment on the situation in wisconsin.if many people there wern;t having buyers remorse, there would be no pending recalls. ”

Therefore, people had “ buyers remorse” with Bill Clinton too. See the tie in ? Easily see by most.

3. “just an update. whats now taking place in wisconsin has nothing to do with bill clinton”

Just proved it does to normal person.

4. “i repeat if mrs.warren decides to run she will be a formidable candidate.”

I showed my proof. Show yours. Making another Sarah did not show sympathy to victims in AZ shooting mistake or another Newt was kicked out of House mistake ?

5. “if you donn;t like that opinion, that your problem”

I enjoy showing your lack of knowledge...

1. “people do have a right to their opinions”

Yes I do. I back with F A C T S with links, not just opinions.

2. “the numbers you cite maybe correct,at this time they have very little meaning.”

Better guess (poll) than your opinion. Your opinion has "very little meaning” by comparision.

3. “it;s my opinion that IF mrs. warren were to run she would be a very formidable candidate for that senate seat ”

a. Before you said that you wrote“i hope mrs. warren does decide to run for the u.s.senate.scott brown won because martha coakley was such a poor candidate, not because brown was a great candidate”

Was a lot of “poor candidate” Nov. 2, 2010 ALL OVER THIS LAND FOR DEMOCRATS.

See poll.

4. “in reply to your comment,no all those lost seats in 2010 were not do "to poor candidates.people sought a change.that being said a number of those same people are now having buyers remorse.”

“buyers remorse.” And your proof is ? Oh yes, YOUR OPINION !!! Have quoted with link before, am S U R E you took notice, A sitting barry is evenly split with a un-named Republican. A SITTING PRESIDENT !!! Yeah, they have “buyers remorse” on US. S U R E. Dream on with your opinions.

5. “wisconsin is a prime example of that fact.”

What fact ? Bill Clinton was facing Impeachment . Did he leave office early ? Has anybody been kicked out of office in Wisconsin ? Or is YOUR OPINION that it is as far gone conclusion ? Heck I have heard several times barry would face such charges. Should I get excited ?

Wonder how many of 5 points brucetee will answer ? If any. He my SKIP over.

hey monotonous, people do have a right to their opinions, get use to it.the numbers you cite maybe correct,at this time they have very little meaning.

it;s my opinion that IF mrs. warren were to run she would be a very formidable candidate for that senate seat

wisconsin is a prime example of that fact.

Scott clearly stated he was against obamacare. Congress rushed through obamacare before Scott was a Senator sworn in.

Scott was FOR WATER BOARDING & clearly ran on it.

All this in TEDDY-LAND.

“Poll: Majority in Massachusetts Say Scott Brown Deserves Re-Election” ...

April 7, 2011

“Fifty-five percent of people questioned say that Brown deserves re-election, with 29 percent saying they would like to give someone else a chance, and 16 percent undecided. The vast majority of Republicans questioned and more than six in ten independent voters say Brown deserves a full term in office, with Democrats divided.”

"Brown's surprising re-election rating among registered Democrats could make it a monumental task for any potential Democratic challenger to defeat Brown," David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Center, tells CNN”

Yes, I think Repubs will wish they had not opposed Elizabeth Warren. Can you imagine what would happen if she was the presidents choice for VP. She would blow them away.

Ina Ayliffe of TX 3:33PM July 19, 2011

i hope mrs. warren does decide to run for the u.s.senate.scott brown won because martha coakley was such a poor candidate, not because brown was a great candidate.

the reason mrs. warren is not in charge of the new bureau is because the insidious republicans do not want anyone in a position of power who would act in the best interest of the american consumer.
