What happens when republicans gain control of the house ? Bullinhofe. Go figure. These guys couldn't screw in a light bulb. One day inhofe's name will be synonymous with "d&?!$h/t.

You toss out insults and incorrect information and think it makes you sound smart - it doesn't.

I'd explain that it was the Democrats that passed the law in 2007 (remember, they grabbed Congress in 2006), but you're too wrapped up in your self-righteous indignation to recognize it.

Yes, Bush signed it. That's the only thing you've gotten right in your rant.

What kind of clowns would research a new and upcoming technology , give approval for it's implementation, and then three years later try to block that same implementation which they instigated and signed and raise a hue and cry about bad ol big gov. Well fools, you are the ones who initiated it and signed it onto law. You are the blundering buffoons responsible. The cult of stupidity just keeps on getting stupider.

So far the republican house looks like it's full of clowns and buffoons. They are so small minded and short sighted. Why can't they get the big picture. They are so locked into their republican orthodoxy they look like a bunch of zombies. Not one can think for himself. They all just regurgitate dogma on cue. And the cult of stupidity loves it. Meanwhile, global warming is beginning to eat our lunch. Oh yeah, and when things start to get hot, they tell you to pray. That's funny. I like farce. As far as I am concerned inhofe means s&@?

Do some research before believing the political scientists about those supposed environmentally better lights.

1) Every one has a drop of mercury meaning it can not be legally disposed of without being sent to a hazmat center. If you break one you must call hazmat because it has enough mercury to be considered an environmental spill. And chances are your insurance does not cover such clean-up costs.

2) They only last 10 times longer in a lab. I tested several different brands and none lasted more than 3 times the expected life of an incandescent bulb. The savings do not cover the extra cost let alone the disposal costs.

3) They take more energy and more resources to produce and, as already noted, take more to recycle/dispose of.

4) These are fluorescent lights which means that they do not function properly, if at all, in the cold. During the winter I had to plug in 2 of these to equal 1 incandescent in a 45 degree basement and the flickering made for dangerous work in my shop.

Revive the law when LED technology catches up. Laws based on garbage science need to be repealed for all our benefit.

Apparently, there's STILL nothing in the Palin e-mails for her to work with.

Hence, the continuing dem shill Susan Milligan and President Barack Obama sitting in a tree, K, I, S, S, I, N, G update:

18 July, War Powers 90 plus twenty-nine:

Indeed, there are more-pressing concerns that light-bulb regulations. But Milligan still can't see the biggest one, now on account that glare from the CFL in her mouth washes everything else out.

At the top of the pressing-concern list continues to be Obama's lawyer-shopped, non-war Libyan war -- which glows in the dark all by itself like a big honking neon sign, even if ignored by all libprogtards -- and the need for Obama to get with the program when it comes to meaningful spending reductions. He's running actual trillion-dollar-plus annual deficits while holding up what would only be a couple hundred billion per year in spending growth rate reductions by playing the class-envy tax-the-rich card.

What is it that you don't understand, Bush was a Social Conservative not a Fiscal Conservative also it was passed during a Democrat controlled congress. Wasn't that happy with Bush, As I stated before I will believe actual accounts of poeple using actual real life situations, and so far from what I can tell by people who have USED them is that they cost more, last the same time, and work actually worse vs. Government PROJECTED data, I will believe first-hand accounts. Democrats have used Climate change as a way to gain control of American Businesses, most of there proposed laws hurt thriving businesses, and only would help new industries, it is a way to get them in their pocket (kinda like how the Republicans already have big oil in their pocket) the Dems only want to get someone in their pocket. I'm not saying that Climate Change doesn't exist that is a different topic. What I am saying is Ther Democratics are just as much a farce as the Republicans. Stop being so "clueless"

Mark Koch- Why would anyone who makes any amount of money want to give more to the current Administration. Untill our government shows they know how to balance a budget I don't care if you made 500,000 or 5,000, I wouldn't trust them with one more dime. It's not a question of can they afford it is a question of what are they going to do with my money once they have it? So far Dems and Reps have not shown they know how to properly spend our money. They got us into this mess and now want to ask the rich to bail them out, when the rich already pay the majority of our taxes. And if you want to throw TARP out there that money is being paid back, so unless our government is planning on giving money back to the rich, they don't have a leg to stand on.

Muser - By your comment it obvious you are a bigot towards the south. just as people do not listen to racist they should not listen to you.

I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17 inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get all this stuff, MetaCent.com

This republican farce illustrates that the number one problem which neeeeds to be addressed on America is improving our schools . A Democracy will not succeed in a land of dummies. Look at the cult of stupidity. Their idea of government is to try to sabotage it. They are nothing but terrorists. A fifth column.

Drought, Famine, War of OK 4:28PM July 18, 2011

Try reading! That is somthing that everyone in your cult of stupidity should start doing. The new light bulb standards were researched, proposed, and signed by one of your cults luminaries, bush. You are an illustration of why this little episode is so ridiculous. You are clueless.
