Let me guess. You are a white liberal. I am Black. And not a fan of Ms. Bachmann at all, but let me tell you something. Don't go throwing around the "racist" title without knowing what you are talking about. You simply, as a white person, especially one trying to score political points, don't have the right.
She is crazy and her ideas are ridiculous, but unless you have legitimate examples, you should dummy up. You want to find racism, stand amidst a bunch of white liberals. There will be plenty there.

Michelle Bachmann's national surge is not about sex appeal, but her appealing to racist bigots of which she is one. The word racism has been thrown around for a very long time...but in this case it fits the bill. Back in the 1980s I told a colleague of mine that there are no bigots in Minnesota. He told me that if I wait long enough I will find one, and find I did! And by the way her fidelity pledge does not wash...if she really believed in that she would not have fallen head over heals to try and french kiss President George W Bush four years ago.

We will stop calling you (and the media) on the carpet when you spend as much time chastising Obama and the Dems for their mistakes as you do the mistakes of Republicans.
Since your modus operandi to date has been to totally ignore the mistakes of the Democrats (or make lame excuses for them), I guess that you will continue to be called on the carpet for you one-sidedness for quite a long time.

File this opinion post under She Who Smells it Most Deals it Most.
First Milligan deals it. Then smells it. Then says to everyone, "Looky, looky what I just smelled. It came from somebody/everybody else!!!" As she waves her hand back and forth behind her... back, with:
"No matter what a woman accomplishes, or no matter what political or policy mistakes she might make, her true value is rooted in her attractiveness to men."
Bachmann's 2012 chances are not about 'sex appeal' as Milligan oh so very authoritatively stated. Then spins her Helen Reddy, hear-me-roar 1970s time warp about:
"No matter what a woman accomplishes, or no matter what political or policy mistakes she might make, her true value is rooted in her attractiveness to men."
which is a case of Milligan smelling and yelling that because she's the one primarily dealing that. Just like the first person to yell racism is the real racist.
Get a clue Milligan, and buy vowels if you have to. Michelle Bachmann's appeal is that of Margaret Thatcher, who was certainly no eye candy. The appeal is leadership based on leading from the front, not from behind.
In both small-group and national-scale dynamics, people gravitate toward those with real alpha leadership. That's the particular case now after three years of an all-sizzle/no-steak leadership poser -- as previously foretold by his number of pre-presidential 'present' votes.
I don't find Bachmann strikingly-beautiful, physically. And I doubt Milligan does either. But she had to scrounge for an artificial lead-in as a shoehorn for an artificial post. In addition to opposition to raising the debt ceiling, another very appealing thing about Bachmann is that she thinks Obama's lead-from-behind non-war Libyan war was and is a big mistake -- first for its security-threat-absent nature and secondly from its lead-from-behind aspect.
