Fatfaced middle-aged straight man living in total safety masquerades as hot young Syrian lesbian in danger.

Asked about erotic charge, "doesn't want to get into that."

Freak and idiot.

George Sand and George Eliot were novelists and wrote fiction. McMaster didn't just use a "nom de plume." He constructed a false identity under false pretenses, in order to write blog posts as a "real" Syrian lesbian. There's a huge difference.

George Sand and George Eliot did not hide their identities "dishonestly." They used male names in a time when female writers were generally frowned upon, and so they used these names to be taken seriously as writers.

for any further thoughts from Milligan about the 'inexcusable' media treatment of Anthony Weiner during his big week of l-i-e now that he admitted to being a big l-i-a-r.

Milligan . . . Your feigned indignation is astounding. We all know that liberals believe the end justifies the means.

In addition, this is not the first time someone used a different gender pen name. George Sand and George Eliot were the male pen names chosed by female authors (Amandine Aurore Lucile and Mary Ann Evans respectively). I'm sure there are several more, those are just two that came to mind.

I think we should question everything written by any author who dishonestly hides their basic identity.
