Why Don't Men Like Schwarzenegger, John Edwards Use Condoms?

The revelation that former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a child a decade ago with a woman who was not his wife—a disclosure that comes just a couple of years after we learned that onetime Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards had done the same thing—begs an important question:

Exactly what century are we in?

The issue here isn’t even why a married person would have sex outside his or her marriage, which is not an infrequent occurrence now or at previous points in history. It’s not even about how a public person thinks he or she could behave that way without anyone finding out. Edwards, after all, was castigated for doing something so reckless and foolish during a time when he was under intense media scrutiny. But the fact that Schwarzenegger was able to keep this a secret for the entire time he was in the governor’s mansion is astounding, and suggests maybe Edwards wasn’t as delusional as some people thought. But has it not occurred to these men to use a condom? Birth control is readily available. It’s legal. It’s simple to use. And it limits the fallout from an affair. Learning of a past sexual dalliance would understandably be very upsetting to a spouse. Learning that a child was produced from the union is devastating and adds a living, breathing reminder of the episode, a pain compounded by the fact that it is not the child’s fault that he or she is a walking symbol of marital betrayal.

But seriously, if a woman approaches a man and says, "you are so hot," as Rielle Hunter reportedly said to Edwards, does it not occur to the man that she might not mind having a permanent connection to the candidate a child would secure? And what was Schwarzenegger thinking when he had sex with someone who actually worked for the family? Did he not consider the possibility of pregnancy? Perhaps the use of birth control adds to any guilt the men might feel; if the episode is planned, it is more difficult to convince oneself that passion was to blame. It’s sort of the counter-argument to those who believe that providing birth control to sexually active young people will give them ideas about sex they wouldn’t otherwise have. More likely, they are thinking about sex, and while it may not be wise to engage in sex at a young age because of the emotional implications, the physical consequences of sex without birth control are far more serious. One would think adult men would know that by now.

John made his contributions in the legal field and Arnold in the political arena. So they had extramarital affairs. A lot of Americans have done that. Some pretty famous ones are John Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Jesse Jackson, and Martin Luther King Jr. Why aren't they no-good SOB's?

If you look at these older women, almost 40 when... oops ...they got "conveniently" pregnant. ( oh but morally, they could commit adultery on one hand, ... but could not use birth control or gasp, have an abortion ! ??)

I bet you ... they assured the men they were barren, menopausal, or "couldn't have babies according to their doctors. ... These women "conned" these men with false promises and lies to get them to engage in sex-escapades in which the men thought they were immune to the consequences of unprotected lust.

These children were not "love" children... they were intelligent weapons, evilly designed for extortion and deliberately conceived to destroy another woman's marriage. So the Sociopathic-HO, Narcissistic, Sperm Stalker could get her man !

I had one of these older, aggressive babymamas attack my marriage too.

But, After I discovered the years and bizarre lengths the SHE-BEAST went to, to get pregnant. Using first a sperm bank, a fertility clinic, using Clomid and other useful drugs, then ART assisted conception , plotting with her duped female fertility DR to get pregnant on purpose. ... (she even told the DR. and the hospital where the child was born that my husband was her husband !!!, to falsify the birth records !! ). I realized my Husband was targeted and blackmailed into the situation.

I ended up forgiving my husband and staying in the marriage, in part, because i realized I was not going to let another malicious person force me out of the life I was invested in with children of the marriage as just collateral damage, because of my pride and humiliation over what she too had done. I hold my H accountable for his stupidity, but this type of woman who plots out her life strategies by manipulating and destroying others... it is just unconscionable and I refused to be her victim.

She is the one who will have to suffer the consequences of her procreative choices alone. The truth will come out one day. I can do nothing to protect the innocent child from his mother... I am after all, so inappropriate a wife in that 666-Beast's unholy opinion. She has made it her life's mission to denounce and slander me to cover up for her choices...oh and keep me as far away from her love child as possible, as I am the bad influence.

IF Maria were not so public a figure..... ???

Because they don't come in "extra mini" sizes. It's obvious these guys dont have a pair because if they did, they would admit it to the wives, get a divorce and move on. I guess you don't have to do that if your wife is dying, or shes a Kennedy and your afraid of her. Face it, they're both punks.
