Obama's Immigration Push Is Not Just Politics; It's Good Policy

I simply can't believe USNews approves of an open border policy and rewarding law breakers with citizenship, while making American taxpayers subsidize this invasion, poviding eight million of our own jobs to them. These policies have driven America into the deepest recession since the Great Depression.

While the real unemployment rate hovers at around 16%, our commander in chief panders to illegal illterates, defending illegals against a soviergn state, bowing to the leaders of Mexico, bailing out the banks and Wall Street fat cats, while the rest of us, you know, legal citizens who have paid tazes all of our lives so our children could have a better future, must stomach subsidizing illegal students, illegal babies, illegal families, to the tune of anywhere from 100 to 300 billion dollars a year of OUR TAX DOLLARS.

Turning our cities and communiites into slums and barios, our education system into a remedial reading and language babysitter, while sucking up $10,000 of our tax dollars every year to education their children?

Where are America's heros, who will lead a nation into the future? Why does Obama hate America so much that he wants to turn it into a third world cess pool?

I believe we have had enough of Obama, and shame on you UsNews for pushing immigration disaster on the rest of us. My Dad is rolling over in his grave.

Obama and his party are playing up to Hispanics. They will use and manipulate them just as his party did to the Irish and other immigrants in the past. It is a question of power and keeping power. The thought of buying all those votes with taxpayer money makes the drool.

Obama's recent sarcasm in Texas about the border really displays his inner feelings. He is a self centered spoiled little man who has made it on the gift of gab. He has managed to talk out of both sides of his mouth very effectively. He enjoys the support of the press perhaps based on an Elvis complex or on the sale of papers.

We have already lost control of hills and mountain tops in Arizona to criminals guiding drug dealers into our country. Crime in Arizona is up. The borders either don't exist or cannot be properly controlled. Arizona is talking about building its own fence due to the political cowardice of both parties. Seal the borders and then address worker visas and other issues. Politicians are trying to rebuild a house while it is on fire. Comments made by Obama and his sycophants really demonstrate how little they regard the intelligence of the American people. This man really needs to be a one term president to save the nation. I am really tired of the staged moments while our country declines more every day.

What really needs to be done is to fix the economy. One of the best ways to do that is to suspend the income tax for 1 year. Unfortunately, the politicians do not like that idea. Once the economy is fixed, illegals will no longer be an issue. As for the cheap labor argument, that does not hold water everywhere and it is also what weakens our economy. Last week I read an article on how much money immigrants and illegals send out of the country each year. If you diverted that money to out deficit, in a couple of years we would not have one. With all of this money is leaving the US from those immigrants and illegals working, we need to stop all of the economic aid to foreign countries to balance the budget. I had to laugh with the statement about closing our borders. We could not close our borders without using all of our current military forces and starting up the draft. Where Obama spoke yesterday, behind him was the city hall still marred by bullet holes less that 1 week old from a gun battle from south of the border.

the work visas and naturalization process we have.

Obama is the politics.

In large part, the amnesty-based 'reform' talk we hear so much is a bailout of the Mexican economy.

"No reason to give them social security, medicare, medicaid, food stamps, education, free housing, the vote, etc."

The only things on this list that I KNOW illegals in my area have received is emergency medical care. In fact, since the vast majority of illegals never receive anything else on this list (except on Fox News), it's essentially a non-issue and strawman argument.

No reason to give them social security, medicare, medicaid, food stamps, education, free housing, the vote, etc.

If they want citizenship, leave, and come in legally. Play by the rules.

Check Mexico laws on illegals. Worse than ours. They are working on closing their southern boarder, more than us...

Corruption in enforcement of law is, for lack of a better word, good.

" The supper right wingers mock them demonize them but when the offer to cut there grass is cheaper than a legitimate business; they opt to look the other way and hire the illegal."

You might want to add in all the left wingers who hire illegals as well - that is, if you want your post to have any validity.

You might also want to run a spellchecker before you hit "add comment".

Oh, so what I said isn't true? Really? So I've got a plan for you - accompany Susan and her progressive friends on my aforementioned hike into the areas controlled by illegal drug runners and coyotes.

Sit around the fire and sing Kumbaya with BHO. I reckon the bad guys will cut your chorus short - just before they cut your throats.

p.s.

You suggest that I wouldn't support fines for businesses that hire illegals - not true.

I understand you're not a fan, but here's an excerpt from one my comments - which I have repeated many times. Check with Bill Hedges if you don't believe me. Hell, I even piss him off sometimes - that's what happens when one is a logical thinker, not a dogmatic ideolog , such as yourself.

"Businesses that hire illegals should face heavy fines. Those that don't should get tax breaks."

Oh look! We agree twice in one day about this and violent video games. I'm soooo happy... Let's do lunch.

I am a contractor in Oregon, I have known and hired Mexicans, who had papers and made sure Taxes, SSI and workers comp have been paid. They are hard working people, family people, not much different than the rest of us, except skin tone. All they are trying to do is what all immigrants have done in the USA, find a better life for there children. The supper right wingers mock them demonize them but when the offer to cut there grass is cheaper than a legitimate business; they opt to look the other way and hire the illegal. This happens over and over. When a Mexican is working in the USA illegally they work cheep, most of the time there are no taxes, no workers comp, no SSI. That makes them 1/3rd the cost of a tax paying livable wage earner.

We as cheep Americans or should I say Wall-MartAmericans feed into the problem. In 2011 I can’t get a construction job if I pay a livable wage with all the taxes and workers comp. The home owners I talk with ask me “Well your not going to bring me a crew that doesn’t speak English” I say “No my crew was born and raised here, and is as white as you are.” Well guess what I didn’t get that job. I drive by the same home a week later and the crew is all Hispanic, none of them speak English.. Hmm, If the price is right the hard Right Conservative Republicans will deal with a non speaking English crew working on there home.

Our President Obama is trying to fix the problem; we need to encourage the process of reform. We need to turn the 11 million illegals into taxpayers. That might even help the budget deficit.

This message was written by an Independent Voter who agrees more with the moderates of both political parties. The far left and the far right just don’t get it!
