Attacks on Obama Over Libya Are About 2012 Politics

Just in case no one's noticed, the flags carried by "rebels", in all the countries revolting, bear the crescent moon of Islam. You will note this is a religion that discriminates against women, gays, and all non-Muslims. It brainwashes children in their "public schools" and promotes acts of terrorism.

I wonder, would progressives embrace a Christian theocracy, with a Crucifix emblem on its flag, and which committed the same heinous acts as those countries dominated by Islam. Judging by their hatred of Israel - I think not.

Islam has attempted to dominate the world since 630 A.D. It has come close to succeeding twice - in the 8th and 16th centuries - stopped each time by the blood and toil of Catholic knights and men at arms. Now Christianity/Western Civilization has weakened and the jihadists smell blood and decay.

Wake up.

Before Bush was President:

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."--President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."--Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."--Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."Letter to President Clinton, signed by:-- Democratic Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others, Oct. 9, 1998

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."-Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies."-- Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999

It is not our war, but ...

Obama was criticized for not acting against the plight against Libyan rebels soon enough.

Obama was criticized for not leading the war against Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi when the French went in.

Obama was criticized for keeping his schedule instead of ... oh ... staying in the U.S. or flying to Libya himself (to act as general?) or radioactive Japan?

Obama is now being criticized for not having given us a formal speech about why we are supporting our allies against a dictator who is killing his own people.

I don't recall as much criticism about Bush's leadership - sending our troops to Iraq, letting thousands of them die or return wounded, spending ... over a trillion dollars, for YEARS, because he "thought" or was "mislead" about weapons of mass destruction, which thankfully turned into liberating Iraqi's. Yeah, that's why Saddam Hussein was hiding in a hole ... because he had weapons of mass destruction.

If our U.S general in command feels his troops are fighting for what's right - and that's what he said, that the Libyan's are being slaughtered by their own leader - and it's happening on his watch and he's trying to stop it, I support our troops in their efforts. This time, the issue is obvious and the US is supporting humanitarian action - whether or not there are puppets involved.

"The complaints from the GOP about Obama are directed at his strength as a leader, and less so at the actual rightness or wrongness of the mission."

No, the complaints are because no one knows who's in charge, what the mission parameters are, or what we're trying to accomplish. Obama has explained nothing as of yet. That directly impacts the rightness or wrongness of the mission AND questions Obama's strength as a leader. There's nothing political about it.

If he's unwilling to go the distance and remove Gaddaffi, then he shouldn't have imperiously pronounced that "he must go."

The interesting argument is bringing him up on war crimes, or charging him with the Lockerbie bombing. There *is* precedence for invasion to arrest a head of state for criminal activity - Manuel Noriega in Panama, 1989. Then we would get our man, and the rebels would be free to pursue the regime while we avoid messy "regime change".

Too early for 2012 politicking. Just reasonable opposition to the stupidity of our president, Bush III.

Global Elites going in under disguise of humanitarian aid. This is the globalists taking us to war to gain control of the region and their resources. Working hand and hand with TV media companys which they own and get everyone in the mind set to legitimize war. Leading the heard to make it seem like this is ok to do.

Ask yourself a question

Where have the so called rebels attained their weapons over the past couple weeks?

The middle east is a chess board and they (The Gloablists) are attempting to dominate each country one at a time.

Who is the next puppet leader up for consideration in Egypt non other than one of their own Mohamed ElBaradei.

So what they are doing is going in illegally taking over countries and putting in their people. Watch to see which one of their puppets they put in place for Libya.

People turn off MSNBC for a while turn to alternative media due your research and you will see why things are happening the way they are in the middle east. Then come back to check the facts against MSNBC and other TV media. By doing this you will see the lies and disinformation. It took me a while to figure this out but now I feel like a blind person that can now see if multiple colors.

Please wake up and research from all sources online.

Next Stop Syria, next stop Iran.... Where does this end? Does it end when we run up against a country with Nuclear Missles pointed in our direction?

Is this, truely, your caption for the Aircraft Carrier Cartoon on the right? ---->

Your blog is insufficient and it stinks!!!

You, Robert Schlitzslinger, Can't-see Marshall, and Jamie Stillborne should try writing for Popeye Cartoons .....but even then, you guys aren't any good in that department either!

Tom Donovan of IA 12:27PM March 25, 2011

The key to the solution is the Libyan opposition. Obama has given them a chance to carry on, but only a chance, and you can't make it too easy for them. Obama is doing exactly what he should. It's preposterous to think that there can be a mission to bring Qaddafi down or freedom to Libya from outside. And not acting is even worse for US interests.
