The Tea Party's claim to fame is disrupting town hall meetings on health care reform. So we have the Tea Party as a bunch of loud mouthed, overweight peoiple screaming at senior citizens and disabled peiple who depend on health care for survival. These Tea Party cowards wish they were a fraction of the real patriots of Colonial America.

I was for the tea party. However, they are becoming the party of loonies and wackadoodles. Sad.

“Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it”

There is no grassroots behind the Republican Tea Party, its paid infomercial stuff.

A paid crew of partisan hacks, corporate-owned politicians and corporate-owned media hatemongers have been bamboozling lots of people. Pretty sweet - all until this Walker chump showed their hand in wanting destroy the American middle class and working people. 'Starving the beast' - shrinking govt til they can drown it in a bathtub - and then hand over the reins to their corporate junta. Its the “Mississippication” of the rest of the country - "referring to the reputation that state has for stingy social programs, abysmal schools, inadequate health care programs, and a poor quality of life. This is what could be in store for all of us if government is reduced to an emaciated state. If the anti-government and anti-tax crusaders have their way, we will all be living in Mississippi, whether we want to or not." Trust me you don't want to live there.

Quit whining, you don't need schools or a fire departments, but money bags sure needs a tenth house and to stash more money away in the caymen islands.

“A man may be personally ever so well off, and yet if his country be ruined he must be ruined with it; whereas a flourishing commonwealth always affords chance of salvation to unfortunate individuals.”

I have no idea where the anti-Tea Party people get their information. MSNBC

undoubtedly. The network which increases the size of it's viewers by 10 percent when a single person accidentally hits the wrong channel number on the remote. Certainly, from U.S. News a miserably failed magazine which I subscribed to until it took a vicious turn to the Left.

Actually, only hard core democrats and idealistically wrong headed young people could try to discredit an organization that is dedicated to protecting their future. Unbelievable, but true.

Maybe a formal and published mission statement from the real Tea Party - not the fictionalized version that the mush headed young Marxist wanna be's believe - until they get their first paycheck from McDonald's. That's when they will say, "What happened; I have a college degree"?

"Our mission is based on U.S. Constitution's original principles and not on any political party platform. We must return the United States to the States and the people as spelled out in the U.S. Constitution. The U.S. Constitution was written by our founders to limit the powers of the federal government, instead , giving the power to the people and the States.

As a committed group of ordinary Americans, we will achieve this by promoting candidates who commit to the original founding principles of the U.S. Constitution of limited federal government , states rights, balanced budgets, individual liberty, freedom and personal responsibility. ... "

Do you have a problem with that?

Typically, liberals only criticize , but never really state what they are for. I

assure you, that if they put in writing what they are for, it will sound like a Karl Marx Manifesto - and it will sicken them.

GOD BLESS MY AMERICA!

Thank you , sorry I'm a product of the public education system . That aside , try reading into it and commenting on the content . Did you read Ron W Smiths' comment ? For some reason I don't think so .

Saying what I think and believe hasn't always worked out so well , but oh well ,I'll die knowing I've done the best and stood by my beliefs .

And for the most part, only an educated and reasonably decent speller would be allowed to submit his remarks for general public readership for fear of falling into that classification of "opening his mouth and proving he's a fool."

When one rants in public, one's arguments/comments ought to, at least, make some sort of coherence instead of merely lumping everyone who does not share every detail of his political beliefs into the same category. If/when he thinks the 'other side' is guilty of that behavior, he certainly takes pride in knowing that he is not like that description.

The Republican Tea Party is wholly owned subsidiary of the Koch Industries.

These bums have proven they are purchased actors and mercenary punks who will say what they are told.

Its obvious now to most Americans that these heavily promoted tea party promoters are carpetbaggers paid to mislead that the war on the American middle class is good.

The true colors of the so-called tea partiers is showing in Wisconsin and Michigan where Americans have bait-and-switch politicians ready to sell out Americans and destroy any sense of community that doesn't pay off the corporate overlords pulling Republican puppet strings.

If you still think you're a tea party follower - it means you want cut veteran benefits, social security, medicare, etc - even if you don't think you are. You're being used as a tool - a traitor to your fellow Americans.

As a fiscal conservative I went along with some of the tea party idea initially, but came to my senses. They are not fiscal conservatives, period. As much as hate the word, the term the tea party originally called itself turns out to the most accurate - teabaggers.

See what happens when there's no debate , SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN HALF THE DEBATE TEAM RUNS AND HIDES AND AVOIDS THE TOUGH DEBATE . Or see what happens when the left looses an election , wheather it be gay marriage in Ca. or Scott Walker in Wi. , stomp , cry , riot , protest . deface property , threaten people and their families , go to court (elections and the majority be damned ) ( are these the people want to be associated with ?). I smell and see alot more " bully tactics " from the left , please tell me your eyes are more open that you lead on .

You mention the dumbing down of America , that started in the 70s thanks to Jimmy Carter and the dept of education and teachers union ,( thats about the time manners and being polite where lost in America ). You skip over which party wants school choice , charter schools and vouchers , and they work !

You leave out the TRUE benefactors of the democat party , the unions bosses , ACORN , Panned Parenthood and countless other political payback groups .

And you say , America still remains the land of opportunity even the ignorant can rise to the top , that depends if you political needs to keep you down ( as the democrats have done to blacks for 50 years ) for your vote and their power . You CAN AND WILL RISE TO THE IF YOU DEPEND ON YOURSELF WORK HARD AND DON'T MAKE EXCUSES !! . Let's not forget , GET THE GOVERMENT OUT OF OUR LIVES AND WALLETS .... Please don't forget , the goverment was meant to be small , out of our lives , protect us ( not rule us by their definition of protection ) limited goverment you know that . We lost our way generations ago , along with , please and thank you , respect for your elders , yes sir and yes mamm , kids were to be seen and not heard ect., THE GOOD OLD DAYS .
