good team, terrible fans! That is exactly what I was thinking about the fans of the Vikings, Eagles, Bears, Lions, Cowboys, Jets, Broncos, 49rs, and Colts.

too bad packer fans dont act like their franchise does. they are the most disrespectful people i have ever come across. non stop gloating and wishing injuries upon opposing teams. i like the packers as a team, but their fans make them my most disliked team in the league.

Unfortunately, in the NFL at least, the Green Bay model can't be repeated. There is a limit of 35 owners of a franchise, and one owner must have 30%. The Packers were grandfathered in. Perhaps the other owners were fearful of losing their "build me a new stadium with public funds or I will move" leverage.

I'm a Carolina fan and years ago, we played a game at Lambeau which I and a frind drove for 2 days to attend. Within 5 minutes of parking at Lambeau, we were being feasted by Packer tail-gaters. Walking into that stadium was like entering a cathedral and I never met more polite and knowledgeable fans.....several of whom bought us rounds of beers. If you're a football fan of any team, don't let yourself die before you attend a game at Lambeau. I have a fuzzy place in my heart for the Packers and wish them luck in the Super Bowl; What a CLASS team!!!
