seriously?! The Jets won a HUGE game, beating the Pats who haven't won a playoff game since spygate! I wouldn't have even made the jets underdogs because of the attrocious defence of the pats! jets played one bad game this year against a strictly offensive team, but it didn't matter!

so why not celebrate?! i love seeing players celebrate after scores! i don't think there should be a penalty for the whole team celebrating a huge touchdown that basically puts them in the AFC championship!! celebrating your successes is one of the best parts of being successful!

absolutely no examples in this article, not useful in any way!

This is what competition is all about!

Football is the ultimate contact sport. Motivating these huge physical guys who in many cases are more brawn than brains requires different techniques. Does anyone think that trash talk is not part of every game, if so they do not understand the game.

The Jet's did what they had to do to win and they did and I guess that is galling to some. When the Pat's ran up the score in the 45 to 3 loss, where were the press comments?

This week it is different, the Jet's are quiet with a different game plan. Make it appear that Big Ben is a giant who is difficult to take down, it is classic misdirection. The Jet's will play it cool and stop the run and go after the receivers with just the right amount of pressure on Ben.

The Jets went from being a footnote in the NFL to the flavor of the day. Does it bother me that they are brash, nope, they are in the playoffs

Clearly you know nothing about NFL football. Nobody cares about feelings. It's all about winning and J-E-T-S did it when nobody else thought they could. You're just mad because you're a front-runner and it was painful to watch NY celebrate in style. Go cry about it!

If we were tlking about little league or some type of church competition then I would agree with the lady who doesn't undertand sports, but since this is professional sports with all the spot light positive and negative I say there was nothing unsportsman like.

this article is clearly written by someone who is in love with everything about the Patriots. Have you bothered to watch videos of Brady taunting other teams or videos of the Patriots celbrating their victory over San Diego by doing the "lights out" dance in the middle of the field. They are recognized cheaters whose team montra is "if you ain't cheatin, you ain't tryin!" Give me a break with your nonsensical article.

This article made me laugh like no other! You mean to say the Pats never celebrated after a win? That the Pats are really the better team? I seem to remember the Pats doing the "airplane" after beating the Jets in matchup #2 this season. I also remember them dancing in San Diego a few years ago. Spygate is a great Pats memory as well!!! Maybe Susan should keep her opinion to herself, or maybe just share her thoughts with fellow Pats fans - they just don't make sense in the real world.

Wow. The author of this article would have us believe that after a touchdown, everyone should walk (silently) back to the bench, sit down and wait to be called upon for the next play. Hogwash I say. Sports are a form of entertainment. They are also a celebration of an individual (or teams) prowess to perform specialized skills that most people don't possess. Athletes usually start their ascendence into competitive sports at an early age. On fields, courts, and tracks that have seen thousands of participants before them. They travel to unfamilar towns for games against atheletes they may never see again. For those whose talents are superior to others the dedication to their respective sport usually becomes all encompassing. Like as in 24/7 12 months a year, year in year out. The ultimate reward is a professional career. When they are victorious they should let their emotions out. They should not be chastised for what some see as inappropriate behavior. Think about the time they put into this chosen field. Playing hurt, the losses, time spent away from family. At the end of the day there is one winner, and I say LET 'EM CELEBRATE!
