Here is one perspective on the failure to stop fascism in 1933;

Today in the US, the petty bourgeousie has become the core of the current fascist movement (GOP/TP). They have been divided from their more natural alliance with the working class with fascists fostering foolish resentments over their "high wages" "entitlements" and Union organizations. The petty bourgeousie, whose common misery with the working poor is more evident by the day, is being brainwashed by fascist propagandists whose only interest is to secure the capitalist system for big capitalists and to defeat the workers by distracting them from class struggle against capitalist exploiters with nationalism, racism, paranoia and various kinds of fear mongering, hate and intolerance.
Only a progressive alliance of workers, petty bourgeousie, intellectuals and all oppressed people can topple the capitalist exploiters and their lumpen fascist running dog lackies (like Sarah Palin).
Long Live the just and historic struggle of the workers against capitalism, fascism and racism! Long live the just struggle for people's democracy and democratic socialism!

Federic, Obama has said that taxes will stay the same for you...People like you keep believing the rhetoric from extremely rich on the right... they never get hurt... people like you and me do.....
People like Christy don;t invest in infrastructure, while China invests in the future. If you have ever been then there then you will know....Fast trains, excellent airports, fastest computers...
Reducing taxes for people, does only one thing, people spend an extra 100$/month @ wall mart buying all sorts of junk.... helps china and the rich execs...
really really stupid.... we need education, people learning math science and skills for the new century... not candidates who believe that the theory of evolution is bunk (while china spends billions of $$ discovering solutions based on stem cells)...or idiotic candidates who visit constituents on horse back...
do you want progress or leader who you like to drink beer with...
seriously the arguments from the right just amaze me..
senior leaders on the right say, the bill was more than x number of pages so i don;t like it... why, can't they and their aides read....
pure capitalism is ___not working___. if americans do not realize this and keep up with their hubris, (that soviet union failed) we will be left behind....
just look at today's news regarding bp...companies doing whatever they want with terrible consequences.....

Milligan's article reads as if phoned in from the loony bin. An orderly must have held the phone up to her lips, seeing how she was likely tied up at the time.
She just gave everyone a good look at the psychodynamics of the leftist flat-earth society. Where debt-crazed democrat ideology ends, the whole world falls off. Nothing but maelstroms and giant sea monsters beyond that point. And those fish with those huge teeth everyone thought were extinct.
If someone not in a straight jacket told you in person the same thing Milligan wrote -- and you weren't also a frothing leftist in denial -- your best bet would be to nod your head constantly in agreement, and slowly keep backing up until you found a door. Let's hope she's only 18, so mommy and daddy's insurance will cover her therapy bills -- for the next eight years.
The GOP sweep this Nov. 2nd -- it's only the beginning of a long barren period for democrats. The mainstream GOP will adapt to less spending and limited government, as continuously motivated by the Tea Party. The economy and employment will improve for it. And the democrats will be placed on the endangered-species list.

EXTREME PRO-AMNESTY SENATOR HARRY REID
Senator Harry Reid is a Liberal impersonating a Dem and if he is reelected, he will be delivering AMNESTY, to the 13 to 20 million illegal foreigners His counterpart Barbara Boxer is also kowtowing to the illegal immigrant invasion of our country. Reid lied when he said there were no illegal aliens in Nevada as they swept in with the construction boom and are now pilfering the welfare system in the state. GOOGLE--Voter Fraud; or Illegal alien costs; Another major concern is that the Democrats voted--YES--on, is "totalization" agreement between the U.S. and Mexico that would grant Social Security benefits to Mexicans, including those here illegally, even if they didn't work in the U.S. long enough to qualify for Social Security benefits. Our Senior Citizens have been gainfully employed all their life's and these demented souls in Washington, want to share our weak Social Security and pensions with illegal aliens?
GOOGLE--illegal aliens and Social Security. Whereas the Liberal-Democrats use the spin, rhetoric who splash on every page of the Liberal press that Tea Party members are anti- immigrant and this is not--TRUE?
If you want to compete for jobs in the future, then go ahead and vote the so-called Democrats back to power.
This is strictly about the “Rule of Law" and that coming to USA is a prestigious gift from the American People, who are represented by our government. Entering this great country without consent is an illegal act against all Americans. Therefore this is a crime committed by illegal aliens--NOT LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. The Tea Party will not become political pawns of the Republican Party, its elitist’s views like John Boehner or any philosophies that is epidemic of GOP demagogues. The crew is unhappy with the way the ship of state is run and take it over. The trouble is that the ship itself is no longer in Bristol condition and the new officers not much different than then those set adrift.

Is Ms. Milligan on grass, being hopeful or just plain out of touch? I can't really decide. Does she really think that we don't understand what is going on any better than that? As has already been said here, we will blame Obama and the Democrats if Obamacare is not repealed. We will blame Democrats and Obama if the tax cuts are not renewed (My wife and I make about $50,000 to $60,000 together; It is not just rich people that want them all renewed). And yes, we want the current agenda stopped. The problem is Democrats are always thinking we want them to get things done. The truth is we are scared to death every time they do something. They have already done too much. Besides, there is no money to do more things with. It has already been spent, and poorly I might add.

What America learned since Democrats have had Control of Congress and since we've had a Democratic President, is: Democrats live in their own little world;

Polls show obamacare should be repealed. If Democrats stymie Republicans they will suffer. Why do you think most Democrats are running away from obama’s agenda...
