Mitt Romney Isn't Too Perfect—He's Too Phony

Miles of CA you comments fall on deaf ears when trillions of dollars have been spent keeping the poor from abject poverty. Kennedy's observation is apt and appropriate: "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."

The question, miles of CA, you live in the greatest nation on earth abounding with opportunity. But to have the opportunity you have to put on proverbial coveralls and roll up your shirt sleeves. In other words, go to work, get the government teat out of your mouth, put on your big boy pants and do something. Why are you taking a free pass in your own life? Unbelievable the entitlement mentality and dependency that prevades. My fellow Americans, welcome to Europe . . . courtesy of Miles of CA.

MittRomney did'nt have to worry about poor.Barack took care of them already. The "new poor" came from middle class.that's why economic engine is losing traction.Lets' just continue to work with China to provide us cheap merchandise, tools and other gadgets good for 1 week and then would break down.

Maybe it's just the contrast with all the great and unmitigated liars, corrupt to the bone, I have seen running for office all my years, but Romney looks like a real man to me, not one created by marketeers for election (consumption).

Clearly, the writer and the sources cannot tell the difference between a man of substance and a put-up job like Barry Barak Hussein Unqualified O'Bama or Teddy (I ran away from the car crash) Kennedy.

Yo Phil. Go back, read the article, realize your proving his point, remove your post in embarrasment, stop using insults as a smokescreen for your ignorance, and maybe we will have made some progress with you.

Where did this serf "write in" Tammy Fe Boehner's crying parts? Look, elections are mere entertainment to the oligarchs that have already "selected" the next teleprompter reading puppet. One more thing, the oligarchical society absolutely enjoys watching the insignificant peasant commoners squabble over which candidate is best!

what a loser you are! Instead of praising Mitt Romney for his success, his strong family values and his clean cut lifestyle you try to use these things against him as if it is impossible for anyone to be like him. The truth is that there are still millions of people in this country that are like him. Not everyone has been divorced, has a dringking problem, is a habitual liar, hates the rich or cheats on his wife. Perhaps you could find another topic to write about, something that you know more about, like all of the vices I just mentioned and not Mitt Romney!

Miles of CA _ You write on-line pretty good for a guy that can not find a job. Low pay or not.

Safety nets don't catch everyone. Some hit the ground...

You have the so called MOST CARING PRESIDENT. When he had full control of Congress WHY DIDN'T he fix ??? As if possible...

I am homeless and unemployed, Mr Romney does'nt care about people like me, in fact most Americans don't care about millions of Americans like me who ended up screwed over by the banks, are government, employers, and the VA.

We are cast aside like used trash in today's society, if you are not a successful person in this country then you do not fit into the upper echelon of this country's ivy league college educated.

We have become a fake pretend people that rely on Botox, and a wide array of material posession's to impress people we don't even know or like just so we look important.

there are children in America tonight that will go to bed hungry that have not eaten a healthy meal in days, there are over 45 million Americans on food stamps, and millions homeless!!.

When are people going to put their smart phones down for one day to help the poor in this country, and try to lend a helping hand, when are people going to wake up and realize that Dancing with the stars and American idol are far less important then helping there fellow American brothers and sisters who are down on there luck.

This year i am not going to watch the Superbowl at our local rescue mission, but instead i am going to deliver food to the families that are in so desperate need.

Romney says there is a safety net, Really?? Where, i am on the street, and have asked for help from every government agency there is, there is no help, wake up America.......

JFK lived off his father’s money gotten illegally. JFK had affair with mob boss girlfriend and he with bother had affair with M. Monoe.

Kennedy family was Camelot ??? Tell that to Teddy’s pregnant secretary grave stone.

Let’s talk “Too Phony”. Just heard on tv.

Fed chair talks of added revenue when buma agreement expires on Bush’s tax cuts extension for rich to poor. Every tax cut FOR RICH has increased government revenue. Slowed yes by recession. Spent yes by Congress. One example:

“According to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the Bush tax cuts actually shifted the total tax burden farther toward the rich so that in 2000-2004, total income tax paid by the top 40% of income-earners grew by 4.6% to 99.1% of the total”

People dislike Romney because he's a sleazy dirtbag that will do anything to accomplish his goals. He might be a great boss, but god forbid if you're not part of his company. Witness his indifference to the poor, his tax plan favoring the rich-he's a classic tone-deaf rich snob who doesn't have a clue how the other 99.9% live. There's nothing to like.
