That's OK, Arlen, I'd rather read C.S. Lewis than me also :). And on days when that's not true, it's spiritually symptomatic rather than a considered judgment of taste.

Interesting, but I'd rather read Adam Smith than Black. I'd rather read Chesterton and C.S. Lewis and Dietrich Boenhoffer. Shucks, I'd rather read the Bible. ;->

BTW, the "conservatism" of America should never be likened to the "conservatism" of aristocratic Europe.

American conservatism is for equal justice under law -- the truly, ontologically "classless" society!

More interesting is obama wants to lie on freedom of information request. Or family wants to sue over weapons from Fast & Furious killing one of our Boarder Patrolman. Or emails coming to light over the $$$ 1/2 billion alternative energy company that went belly up with government loan. Having WH connection. Interesting...

Author instead leaves current events opting for old news. Old put downs. Could go after the black man...
