With the credit down grade it is time to live within our means. Stop the tax and spend. It's just that simple

Just maybe, Biblical Christianity provides the answers to the debt crisis. For sure it is the ultimate shelter and way of life in a financial crisis.

With majority in both Houses, Democrats in Congress could not pass budget due Oct. 2010.

Republicans in House are willing to extend budget for $ 4 billion in cuts. $ 1.7 in obama's purposed budget included.

Hypothesis and Thesis are complete:

Right off the top, dubbing from "New York Magazine", tells me this is a left-slanted article.

I certainly do not ever wish to be as predictable as you, Scott Galupo!

Have a nice day anyway.

I like your blog but this particular one seems to wander a bit. As a financial conservative all my life, with a good understanding of finance, I cannot honestly see how the U.S. will extract itself from its huge debt. Politicians are far too enamored with being re-elected to do anything really substantive.

I was very impressed today with Robert Gates statement. Paraphrasing him, he says anyone who gets the U.S. involved in another foreign war should have his head examined. Finally, some coherent thinking. Defense spending is at an all time highs, at levels of absolute absurdity.

I yearn for a leader like JFK. If you listen to his speeches, they are coherent, strong and unafraid. Some may pretend to be like him but being wishy washy does not impress me. Time to stop playing games, children, to grow up and responsibly govern.
