It makes one wonder if saving the Republic is on the agenda at all.

Congress may be greedy, incompetent and short-sighted, but they aren't stupid. They HAVE to know that entitlements are killing us, and they have no interest in solving the problem.

So all the money we paid into Social Security that was "borrowed" by the Federal government for pork-barrel projects ("it'll be repaid with interest, wink-wink") will be paid back with inflated currency. After all, they'll just print what they need to repay China and the SS Trust Fund.
