unfortunately we are a deeply divided nation-one that quickly forgets the lessons of our past and of world history. beck is one of the architects of unhealing and unproductive division. yet as a person he is shallow and troubled.
but we love our loudmouths. move over rush surely there is room for beck and palen in the realm of quasi-traitorous bombastic jerks.

Perhaps it was a mistake to even mention Obama in my posting ("Don't Throw Out The Baby..."). One of my points was that bashing Obama - or Bush, for that matter, DOESN'T GET US ANYWHERE! Our problems as a Nation are way bigger than either man. We seem to have fundamental problems with the way our government is elected, and the way it works; with how business is conducted; with how our military and our taxes are used...
I would also revisit my comment on the Company Store. I believe in a strong economy. I believe in small business being supported by government, and being reasonably regulated for sustainability and in the best interests of the larger public. My romance with corporations (international and otherwise...) is over. It is wrong for these inhuman institutions to hold such powerful sway over our lives.
I have also tired of multi-culturalism. Bring back the melting pot! Because I want to share this place with you. I want to welcome and incorporate some of you into me, as well. I am full of bits of other cultures. Come here to be an American, to speak English (the business language of the world), and help make this an even better place, guided by that Yankee Spirit. Come to be a Yankee - and be proud of it!

Glenn Beck is all about Glenn Beck. He was able to organize this group because of his forum at Fox News. Shame on Fox News management that allowed this display of Beck's self-serving show at our nation's capital go forward.
300,000 (+/-)people is an impressive group to show up for anything. However, the US population in April 2000 was 281,421,906
census takers are still working on 2010 census. So, there are quite a few of us left that see through his motivation.
I see nothing productive about this display except maybe it gave work to someone who had no work just cleaning up after the mess they made in D.C. that came out of the taxpayer's pocket.

It seems to me there is a 75 percent probability that Beck's facial affects, vocalizations, body language and gesticulations are natural to his persona; 25 percent attributable to showman schtick. On the nature side of the equation, Beck exhibits all the manifestations of one suffering from manic depression(bipolar disorder). He rifts fluidly and fulsomely between highs and lows, examples as follows: Manic symptoms are a combination of racing thoughts, elevated or euphoric mood, and 'grandiose' thought content. For some people, euphoria may be replaced by irritability, and grandiose thoughts by beliefs of being persecuted.

If all the drunks in America showed up at Glen Beck's gathering in DC; nobody would have been left to run the Country. Those who call Beck 'meglo-maniac' are nothing more than left-wing disinformationicks. This so-called mainstream Media under reported the number of the many thousands of people at the Rally. Afterward, many independent news orginizations showed videos of more than 500,000 attendees. Some in the "ms" media, admitted that there were, perhaps, 80,000 to 100,000 people there. The whole left-wing, New York/California/Billionaire establishment, Democrats and Republicans alike are in for one heck of a shock come November. Perhaps it would behove them (the Billionaires) just to enjoy the fruits of thier hard work; rather than trying to run the world as they see how the world should be in thier own image. The Reagan Revolution is a long, legal and non-violent, process. To undue more than 50 years of leftest/statist control of our Country, it will take time and much hard work. Regaining control of our House of Congress is the first step of a long journey. Now, I would like to congradulate President Obama on ending the war in Iraq. Anytime, any US President, ends a war and brings our troups home; is A-ok in my book. Now, if President Obama, would do the same in Afganistan, Korea and Europe; he would be well on his way to a 2nd term. But, that depends on how much control the left (Billionaire Class) has over him. Perhaps, if Obama would include in his evening prayers, the phrase: "WE THE PEOPLE" beg your forgivness..." God in his infinite wisdom would give him a second chance. Moreover, a die-hard idealogue, such as Obama, probably has not the will, nor the intelligence to set things straight with the American People. So, as it should have been and will be, for the past 60 years and the next decade or two, let the Revolution Roll on. Any American can obtain a phamplet containing our DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE AND THE US CONSTUTION from your Congressman or woman. Get it and read it!
