HMMM, I WONDER IF LIBERALS WOULD BE CALLING FOR EVERYONE TO DROP THE SESTEK QUESTIONS IF IT WERE A REPUBLICAN THAT DID THIS? FOR SURE THEY WOULD BE CALLING FOR A NATIONALINVESTIGATION, SENATE HEARINGS AND ACCOUNTABILITY IF IT WERE ANYONE BUT ONE OF THEIR OWN DOGS! BLATANT HYPOCRISEY HERE!!!

Maybe so, but it sounds like awful dumb moves by a couple of savvy pols. Wonder if there wasn't mor eto it. I also wonder what the press would be reporting on this if it was... say George Bush. I bet it would be a mega scandal then. I long for a press that just does it's job of puting issues in perspective with a non partisan and balanced way. We face numerous serious today in this country and the press seems to be taking sides and promoting their own favorites. This encourages more and more strident extremism. How are w egoing to come to consensus and get things done. Are we unraveling the social fabric to an extent that we will deeply regret perhaps very soon?

This was a scared Democratic party trying to save its buttocks from the TEA Party/Fire all the Bums movements, by trying to take the wind out of the movements sails. Hoping to show the movements were fads and would fade and hopefully if Specter won his bid for re-election. Too bad they violated the rules to do so. They deserve whatever penalty and jail time the law provides.

The Chicago thuggery politics is too much from this scandalous administration.

Throw the lying cheating bum out of office before he achieves his goal of making the USA a banana republic.

Heaven forbid that anyone should doubt the veracity of an administration of known liars (Campaign promises of transparency exhibit 1). The blind faith in the Anointed One and his pack of Chicago thugs never ceases to amaze.

Seriously folks, this isn't getting any attention because it is the Obama White House. If you are completely honest with yourself, ask the question - how would you feel if there were news reports that the Bush administration offered a political candidate a job (any job) to quietly go away? The news media and the Democratic members of Congress would be crying "impeachment!" by now. You can't have it both ways. The fact that they claim he was offered an unpaid position doesn't matter one bit (I don't believe he was offered an unpaid position).

And journalist wonder why they are mocked so often. Scott's next scoop will be based on findings from fact check.org....I can't wait for that one. And finally Scottie boy will spew information he got from "media matters". What a joke.

We can hear Chief of Staff Rahm say,

"A long weekend is where to waste."

"Let's wait till Memorial Day"

"To hide this Sestak thing's foul taste."

So on Friday the White House gave

Its Bill Clinton tried to help spin

Of good ol' Spector's job to save,

Give Sestak a no job - win, win!

Of course networks now run the news

On weekends continuously.

Fox, to fill time, bombarded views

To keep the foul taste real busy.

Long weekends no longer help fix

Microscandals in politics.

Trouble is - they're raising a lot of dust doin' it.

Imagine where we would be with Watergate had Woodward taken the modern day liberal approach to journalism. If Scott lived in those days he would have said "come on people we are in the middle of the Vietnam War and our economy is in meltdown....I think we have more important things to do than investigate a story about a little break in".

At least we know that at one point in our history that journalist had pride in and respect for their profession.
