Um, Sam Dealey,

Read the interview done yesterday with Ayers about his alleged "relationship" with Obama. Then get back to us.

From above: "During some rallies featuring McCain and Palin, supporters have shouted "traitor," "terrorist," "treason," "liar," and even "off with his head."

THIS NEVER HAPPENED!!!!

THAT IS BEING A LIAR.

If any of you ever checked the facts, the real truth.....not the retoric, but the facts, you'd cut off your own hands before you'd vote for Obama...live with the truth...

Ignorant!!! You have no idea!! How could you type something as stupid as to believe that a man who has dedicated 8 years of his life to Presidency would commit TREASON!!! I am a Democrat and think the Bush Presidency is awful and has created chaos. However have some respect. He may have made bad choices but the choices he makes are not the same...which staircase in the highschool to clean first? Sound familiar? Assbag! AR...you seem like a hillbilly pocket political advisor.

thanks, Joan of FL: I didn't know who Saul Alinsky was:

"A passionate believer that social justice could be achieved through American democracy, Saul Alinsky methodically showed the "have-nots" how to organize their communities, target the power brokers and politically out-maneuver them. The lessons he taught people about the nature of power, imparted dignity to the poor and helped create a backyard revolution in cities across America. His work influenced the struggle for civil rights and the farm workers movement, as well as the very nature of political protest."

OMG, encouraging poor people to fight for their rights, what a scoundrel??!!

If this is someone Barack Obama looks up to, I have no problem with this. the real question is, why would this bother anyone else??

In my opinion, John Lewis'comments show him to be racist, not John McCain or Sarah Palin. What a crying shame that so many of Obama's supporters continue to introduce racism in this. Of course Obama started it when he said, 'oh, and did I mention, he's black?'

To Joan of FL

"Obama has Muslims in his campaign."

Which religious groups should be excluded from participating in our political process? Muslims are not criminals. They are people with a different religious point of view.

"Was he actually born in Kenya?"

No, he was born in Hawaii. (which is part of the United States.) There are numerous news organizations which have investigated this and have published copies of his birth certificate.

"When he was 20, he went to Pakistan on an Indonesian passport, and was enrolled in School in Indonesia, as a Muslim by his stepfather, Lolo Soetero, so, the question is, does he pass the citizenship test?"

Obama lived in Indonesia when he was a young boy, 6 years old (his mother married an Indonesian) and he was enrolled in a public school there because his mother and step father could not afford the international school. When his mother felt that the school was inadequate, she sent him back to Hawaii to live with his grandparents to attend a better school at the age of ten. If he had an Indonesian passport, it may have been because he and his mother lived in Indonesia for four years. However, if he did go to Pakistan at the age of 20, what does that prove? Pakistan is one of our allies. Being well traveled is actually something that makes me more likely to vote for him.

"We also have questions about who paid for his education?" This is not a mystery: Both of the Obamas took out student loans to pay for college.

"does he believe that he is entitled to the office of the presidency?" Mr. Obama's mother and grandparents encouraged him to believe that he could grow up to be anything he wanted. Why shouldn't he believe that he is entitled to be president. he is bright, articulate, well-traveled, intelligent, compassionate, and aware of what people in this country are worried about.

Honestly tho, after reading the rest of your entries, I can see that I would be better off getting some sleep instead of trying to shed light on the lies you insist on spreading.

sweet dreams.

McCain is such a hypocrite.

The idea is that when McCain (and Palin) are fanning the flames of hate, the fire may go out of control. The crazy "fringe" people who think that Obama should be killed because of his father's race or religion or other off-the-wall reasons are not people that McCain can calm down by stating that he thinks that Obama is an honorable person. Which is it? Is he a terrorist sympathizer or an honorable person?

I want a smart, calm, clear thinking person to be president. I don't want someone with a gang (lynch mob) mentality who graduated 5th from the bottom of his college class to be president.
