Charlie Rangel has been an outstanding congressman for 50 years. He is also a war hero from the Korean War who took a bullet for his country. He has never been accusd of corruption in 50 years of public service and now the I.R.S and Republicans are harassing him over chump change. He shouldn't even have to pay taxes on something that is not in America. When you work overseas you don't have to pay American taxes so how is a foreign investment different. Charlie Rangel is a great man and public servant and conservatives need to stop giving out blowjobs in public restrooms and starting wars with the wrong countries.

Ifind it offensive to say the least at the amount of incredibly forcefully negaative comments about Sarah Palin who has been so rappidly pushed front and center for the "Bush haters/whiners" that we have been forced to listen to for the last eight years. Now, because she quite rightly asked Charlie Gibson what he meant by the "Bush Doctrine" when according to the press could mean anything from the "lie" about the Iraq war and the conspiracy to propogate that to his efforts to personallly benefit doctrinally by giving tax breaks to the "rich", getting millions from Opec to the detrimant of his own country, to sending young boys to their deaths. Just what he meant by him decrying "the Bush doctrine" and yet you can just feel the breath of the snapping dogs at Sarah Palin's legs. She did very well for her first week in politics - she can handle you boys, but your complaints didn't fit the "crime".

Congress passes tax laws. Rangel is chair of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee. IRS employees can be fired for owing taxes under RRA1998 (10 Deadly Sins). Rangel gets a pass and IRS employees get fired.

If Cholly can get a pass on tax evasion, then everyone should get the same pass!! Fair is fair, from Street Sweeper to Senator.

Now here is the BIG question: What is THIS MAN doing writing our tax code that the IRS enforces against all of us... except him of course... or any of his homies.

And why is it that a US Senator can afford, much less need a villa in the Dominican Republic, and what goes on there? I can tell you what goes on there... the hookers are cheap and plentiful and the government is corrupt. You can imagine the rest.

Sorry Charlie... we got to throw you back in the sea.

The coverage of this story or lack thereof is just another example of how the main stream media are becoming increasingly irrelevant.

This would only be front page stuff it Gov Palin's villa was the one in question.

I JUST FIND IT STRANGE THAT THE TOP TAX WRITER IN THE COUNTRY IS CAUGHT BREAKING THE LAW FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS AND IT ISN'T IN THE NEWSPAPER OR ON TV UNLESS YOU WATCHED CSPAN LATE LAST NIGHT! WHY DO THESE GUYS ALWAYS GET A PASS WHEN THEY'RE CAUGHT BUT THEY ARE CONSTANTLY OUTRAGED IF SOMEONE CALLS THEM A NAME? I THINK THEY ALL NEED TO GO AND WE SHOULD START OVER!

Rangels only claim to office is the fact that morons from Harlem put him there and keep him there. He is a despicable human being. It never ceases to amaze me that the NY City electorate are sooooo stupid and vote against there own intrests.

After 30 years in the downstate machine, I can attest that 55% of politicos are corrupt. What is so amazing is that politicians are not corrupted by outside sources. Politicians corrupt other politicians.

Remember this: The family that steals together, stays together.
