I watched the debate last night and was diappointed.I saw two

angry men acting like high school kids practicing how to debate. John Mccain was so stressed out that I thought he would

start cursing any minute. The poor guy is a very sick man can't his campaign manager see that. Oboma seem to feel sorry for the poor old man and try to treat him in a gentle manner. I wish

they would cancel the Next debate.

As a Reagan Conservative, I am totally against Obama and lukewarm to McCain. However, the arrival of Sarah Palin to the political scene has assured me that the Reagan era is back. There is hope for the Republican party to return to its conservative roots, which I think is the cause of its difficulty over the last several years.

The media may think we have a left leaning country when in fact, I believe we are right of center. McCain did not bounce in the polls until he started to champion conservative ideas, which are now more emphasized by the addition of Sarah Palin to the ticket.

It's amazing that the guy on the top of the Democratic ticket has less experience than the person at the bottom of the Republican ticket. Moreover, this has become a race not between McCain and Obama, but Obama vs Palin.

Sarah Palin has been given a rare opportunity to champion her values amd possibly to lead her country. If she and her family can take care of matters at home, particulary nurturing the children, why would anyone try to stop her? Perhaps because she's a conservative? Palin is dangerous to Obama and we are about to see some real drama unfold in the VP debates. If she's the right person for the job, Americans will see this in no uncertain terms. (By the way, I absolutely agree that Hillary should have been on the Democratic ticket!)

Things I like about Palin: self made, smoked marijuana, real family life - including pregnant daughter, and husband with a DWI. This is not a phoney, air brushed resume.

Things I don't like: Wannabee book banner as Mayor of Wasila. Hypocrite on earmarks - she went after every one she could get, while the getting was good. Interjecting her radical Evangelical views into the environmental debate.

The country doesn't need an inexperienced political Troglodyte a heart beat away from the Presidency. The Conservatives evidence for adequate experience advanced so far is absurd: Alaska is next to Russia; Palin is commander of the AK Guard.

As Obama said in his response:"They (the Repubicans)must think you are stupid!"

Sarah Palin has made a very interesting change in the political race for me. I would not vote for Oboma he has been running for office since he arrive in Washington with not a single yes on record and Biden is all Wind in the City to blow him alll the way out of the race. When McCain chosen Sarah Palin that changed it all for me it is so bright now in the race we may have to put on shades to see it all take place. Women of Amercia hold on to your seats this woman means business and she has a record to back her up something that Oboma can not recon with. McCaine is a smart guy and this is one of his smart moves that will move him into the WhiteHouse.

In the article Sally Quinn also harshly criticized Governor Palin for accepting the VP nomination because she has a special needs child and would not be able to properly care for him and also be the Vice President. I find it interesting that Ms.Quinn also has a special needs child and was a working mother (see below from wikipedia). This has to be one of the worst cases of hypocrisy that I have ever seen.

Quinn is married to Benjamin C. Bradlee, the former editor of the Washington Post, her former boss. Quinn and Bradlee have one child, [Josiah] Quinn Crowninshield Bradlee who was born in 1982 when she was 41. They have acknowledged that he was born with velo-cardio-facial syndrome, and Quinn wrote of her son's learning problems and attendance at special schools in her 2006 article "What My Son Taught Me About God."
