When looking at a company would Mitt only look at its debt and ignore its assets? What are the Federal assets we are leaving our children? I suspect they are 10 times the debt. If I leave my kids $1 million in debt and $10 million in land, buildings, and other assets they will be happy.

Was bum-bum who got Blacks to vote against same sex marriage in CA. Last I checked the President in Democrat. Big majority of Blacks vote Democrat.
As far as our Countries “debt rating ”, bum-bum IS CHAMPION OF THE WORLD in short order with a Democrat controlled Congress. VOTERS fixed that Nov. 2, 2010. Something liberals don’t acknowledge.
For over 3 years DEMOCRATS HAVE NOT PASSED A BUDGET. You all can only cry & complain as we pass 30 + bill in House. You all can not vote on THE bills or re-write bills and send back to House. You all whine and put the blame on us.

Dumb article. But who said Republican voters are smart? Boehner would be happy to destroy our debt rating and bring the country to a standstill, just as a little kid will throw a tantrum in a restaurant to get his way while everyone else suffers. Similarly, holier-than-thou Republican voters would rather vote against gays than for their own economic self-interests. Bah!

When you cut to the chase,speaker,John "double bogey" Boehner is nothing but a figure head.
Eric Cantor and the Tea Party are the real powers that rule the U.S House. thus this is the reason,that there has been no meaningful legislation passed since the repubs took over the house.

Look to Europe, especially the UK and Ireland to see how well spending cuts have worked. Then look to Germany which implemented huge spending to keep people employed, and the economy there is doing better then anywhere strict cuts have been implemented.
