For all those who say transporting and storing Nuclear Waste is safe...I say, sure, it's just as safe as you said underwater oil drilling was going to be by BP in the Gulf....How did that work out for you....Only with a Nuclear Waste Disaster it will be RADIATION spread all over that lasts thousands of years instead of mere biological oil waste that lasts for decades. And if it is sooooo safe and a boon to the State that accepts it, WHY isn't every other State fighting to get it for their citizens, communities and economy, instead of trying to give thei Nuclear Suppository to Nevada???? NUCLEAR WASTE IN NEVADA--NO THANKS!

Benighse of NV 1:35PM June 10, 2010

The writer of the comment regarding Yucca Mountain knows nothing about how safe Nuclear waste is transported and stored. It is already being stored near the Nuclear plants. There is no danger in the transportation of it. Go look at the website www.usnuclearenergy.org. Yucca Mountain will bring many jobs to Nevada and Harry Reid has demonized it. They talk all about becoming energy independent but never mention nuclear energy which is cheaper to operate than wind and solar. Our Navy has been running on nuclear power for a long time. Ms. Angle has the right idea to help Nevada.

It is impossible, from here, to determine how many Nevadans vote with their palms outstretched and open and how much of the chronic and pervasive vote fraud the Democrat party has regularly produced at the polls will occur, so I won't predict this election.

However, if she ran here, I would vote for her, often. I might even vote to replace Bobby Jindal with her. She is spot on!

I an not independently, or otherwise, wealthy (in fact I think that i have probably been more than once more "poor" financially than the DIMWIT in the post: "Entitlement programs and Yucca Mt", above.

I'm not poor now but I am not rich. I worked more than 25 years in private industry (construction / professional services). Now I do work for a public safety regulatory agency. i would honestly report that 90% of my professional co-workers would probably vote for her. The clerks might not.

So, there's nothing to do with independent wealth. There is a lot to do with choices, based on how much a person has invested of his or herself to achieve some measure or success. Yes, those like us will vote for.

Slimebags, who think it is OK to steal other people's earned money, like "Entitlement programs and...", will vote for Reid because they have no self respect left and are hoping for gimmie's.

If Ms Angle thinks we should store nuclear waste in NV I think she would build a house at the base of that mountain so she can be one of the earliest people who gets sick from it. I say one of the earliest because the poor workers handling that waste will be the first.

Even Sen. McCain says yeah store that waste in NV but don't run that train that is hauling the waste through AZ.

Folks who don't support entitlement programs usually are independently wealthy and don't need to worry about such programs. However, you would think she would at least think about those folks that are entitled to them because they contributed into the programs their entire life.

You might say.....'this is one Angle Reid hadn't counted on'....

There are many of us out here in fly-over country that would love to see Reid be defeated.

Ms Angle should do well against him if, as you say, she sticks to her conservative principles. It is my opinion that the country is turning more conservative, especially in view of the massive debt that the Democrat led Congress has run up. We simply don't have the money to pay their bills, and we see our children, grandchildren, and children yet to be born straddled with huge taxes to pay off the national debt.

I plan to send a generous donation to Ms Angle's campaign, and I foresee many other Americans from all parts of the USA doing the same.

Long live the Republic!
