Why Obama Can't Reignite the Democratic Base

... despite the Three Stooges, the 'ics' the 'ans' and the 'isms', which each claim to be better than the others:

Arizona's illegal-immigration law is already working. Illegals are self-deporting. The cat's out of the bag on that one and no amount of race-baiting or other sob story will get it back in.

Also, the Afghans are that much closer to cutting a deal with their Taliban, and reincorporating the Taliban into the Karzai gov't, which is what they would have done anyways. So we're that much closer to declaring victory and drawing down.

If the Democrats pass financial reform, it will be welcome to anyone in this country who gives a hoot. Who cares about re-energizing, we want results and good governance to make the country work for the people, not just for Wall St bankers. 'Re-energizing' is code for scare the dumb bunnies and zombies who believe the crude Republicans and Fox News have been shoveling

These knucklehead demagogues are misguided if they think all this hatemongering and uninformed outrage works for anyone but those stupid enough to believe the lies and distortions that work for klan rallies. We are no all idiots who would swallow this bogus mularky.

President Obama may want to "re-energize" his base, but does that mean the incumbents of the House and Senate, or the voting American public? He may succeed with the general public; but don't count on the incumbents.

The "anti-incumbent" level is so high in this country amongst the voters that they should just get out of the way. It's past time for some new faces in the House and Senate, and we don't care what party they belong to.

We're just going to vote the incumbents of the House and Senate out of office.

"...the law intrudes on the federal role in regulating immigration."

Translation: We know the Fed Gov has done nothing of consequence, is doing nothing of consequence, and isn't likely to do anything substantial about millions of ILLEGALS that are here now - much less stop more ILLEGALS from coming into this country. Do you suppose those who are initiating these law suits will propose a stop to ILLEGAL immigration? Will they provide reasonable explanations for how the US will support the economics of ILLEGALs in this country? This is NOT about RACE (La Raza, left wingers and the MSM main sewer media). It's about being in the US ILLEGALLY!

Gallup poll:

More Americans Favor Than Oppose Arizona Immigration Law

Among those who have heard of law, 51% favor and 39% oppose it

Yes the AZ bill is unconstitutional as well as ill drafted. And those are Republicans.

But that affects only the people of AZ. They'll deal w/it.

HCR is unconstitutional and cruel to the self-employed, the elderly and small business. It affects every one of us. The only way to deal w/ it is to take power from the Democrats.

As much as it pains this lifelong Democrat and formere Obama supporter the only way to do that is to vote for Republicans. (Hey, maybe one set of politicians (crroks)watching the other is the way to go.

I enjoyed the statement by Ed of Tex. that he can't vote Republican due to the Arizona Immigration Bill. So be it, but consider this; any, some, or all of us must be ignorant if you believe that illegal immigrants are taking the jobs that no one else will do. In California your not required to prove citizenship in some trade schools thereby receiving Federal funds for training. The jobs they are now competing for are well within the living wage range of $18.00 to $32.00 an hour. Would young out of work Americans like these jobs? I think so. Besides all else we are seeing the Game Boy generation come of age and they seem to lack self motivation. Keep my kids on my insurance until 26 years of age? Hell No! Get a grip Barry!

The current influx of illegal invaders are primarily Hispanic. The unemployment for 16-24 year old Hispanics rate of 24.2% while the total rate is 10.2% and the rate for african Americans is over 32%. Clearly the largest impact of illegal workers is felt by young African Americans. The illegals will continue to take jobs from our fellow Americans.

I believe there belief is if we can scare the people from interacting with the government then they can better influence the Government Themselves.

We all know that big business have there own dictatorship Government of there own, What we do not seem to realise is there manipulative abilities, Oh we may have an idea nevertheless we severally underestimate there ability to manipulate us. I once liked Microsoft and I believed America should be run like a business, I once believed in the saying "it is just good business" until I saw what was meant by it, peoples insurance dropped because only the insurance companies can break a contract and many more abuses by big business that only they can get by with. As long as the people fear the Government, We will not get much help However If big business fears the Government then we have turned the tables and will have the influence we need to do what is needed for and by the people.
