The Right's Peculiar Obsession With Jeremiah Wright

Jeremiah Wright is an apostle of James Cone and Black Liberation Theology (a racial based subset of Liberation Theology). Liberation Theology asserts that Christ came to deliver the oppressed from the oppressor. According to Cone, Christianity became/is a (white) tool of oppression. Never mind any evidence to the contrary. It is an interesting study and can be an enlightening one.

Racism (whatever that means) is not a wholly owned attribute of white (whatever that is) or Western peoples. Likewise, oppressors come in all flavors.

The best I can do is the best I can do. I pray the same for all.

I am happy to leave others to the consequences of their own actions. I thank God for His Mercy.

"But really that's what the really obsessive Obama-haters seem to think: 'The American people aren't smart enough to see Obama for what he is.' "

Not at all. But it's clear that in the last election, a slim majority of voters weren't smart enough. After four disastrous years of obama's Marxist policies, there are fewer who are still in the dark this time around, but you can add to those deluded idiots the vast number of parasites who are well aware of his pandering, but who are happy to continue living off the rest of us.

Given that those (the stupid and the lazy) are large and dependably Democrat constituencies, as are other Democrat-voting blocks like illegal immigrants, felons, dead people, cartoon characters, etc. (you know, all those targeted by SEIU voter registration drives) it could still turn out to be a close election.

Romney will have to get about 55% of the actual legal vote to overcome the usual Democrat cheating.

If I recall correctly, the so-called "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright is a "former" Muslim who converted to Christianity --- but of course such apostasy is a capital crime under the Muslim Shariah religious laws --- you can be murdered for quitting Islam. But Jeremiah Wright continues to hobnob with that Muslim loonytoon, Louis Farrakhan --- who was in the pay of Libyan dictator Colonel Quacky Kadaffy --- so what's going on, here, ay?

I suspect that the so-called "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright never quite Islam --- that, in fact, he remains a Muslim --- a "closet" Muslim, and that's why he wasn't murdered for "quitting" Islam.

Further, I suspect that Barak Hushpuppy OhBummer knows all this and has known all this for a very long time.

Some very short Arabic lessons ---

Taqiyya --- Saying something that isn't true

Kitman --- Lying by omission

"White Man's greed in a world of need"

"I can no more disown [Rev. Dr. Wright] than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother – a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe."

The press totally gave BHO a pass concerning the good Revd. Liberals have no trouble with the words spoken by him. That is why they may have an obsession with him.

The 'obession' of the Right about Wright goes back to the immediate, incessant and offensive accusations of racism thrown at anyone (and Tea Party-ers in particular) who ventured out to say they (a) would not vote for Obama, (b) thought Obama was inexperienced and unprepared.... had lied about his background, schooling, personal history and (c) opposed ObamaCare. It seems inconceivable to some in the Dem camp that Obama - regardless of color - espouses ideas, politics and behaviors that are not liked or supported on their own merit.

I don't care if Obama is purple. I don't like his politics, his inexperience, his deaf ear to the most basic business and economic concepts, his lack of work ethic, his self-absorbed personality and his disregard for the dignity of the presidency of the USA. Most unforgivable tho: he has continually embarrassed us abroad, made us look foolish and weak to our enemies, offended and betrayed allies. We can only hope the damage he - and that fool of a wife - has done to his office, our economy and this country is not irreparable in our lifetime.

Obama sat in the pews of this racist bigot for 20 years listening to him without protesting and absorbing all his hatred tirades. Oprah couldn't handle him for 15 minutes and walked out and never returned. Obama never disvowed him until he went public and we all could hear Obama's indoctrination for ourselves.

McCain was wrong not to put more focus on Obama's connections to Wright and Bill Ayers. The outcome of the election may have been a lot different. Obama's attendance at Wrights' church for 20 YEARS show his mindset.

Should Romney focus on this aspect of the Anointed Ones' life?

Damn straight. Go for it Mitt!

A fantasy? Does that mean the Rev. Jeremiah Wright didn't demonize America in his sermons? That he didn't say "God damn America." That he didn't call Jews "them Jews?" That he didn't hate whites?

A fantasy? Does that mean that Obama and this anti-American, anti-Semitic pastor weren't friends?" That Obama really didn't attend this vile person's church for 20 years?

What fantasy is this person talking about?

The only fantasy I see is the president of the US. His whole life is shrouded in mystery. Do we know who he is? Was he born in Hawaii? Was he born in Kenya? Read the Drudge Report for crying out loud. Google the stories. There's hundreds of them asking the same question. Who is this man. Why do we know so little about him, even though he has been president for over 3 years. You want fantasy? Take a hard look at Barack Hussein Obama. Or is it Barry Soetero?
