howardof NE, I very much understand commentary, and I also understand and recognize when liberals, like you, continue their relentless attack on Gov. Palin. I personally like the fact that Gov. Palin calls it like she sees it, as compared to the endless lies and excuses from obama. And if you want to talk about gas bag all you need to do is look at the White House for that. And that gas bag is also corrupt as they come, if not for the color of his skin he would have been run out of town long ago, but if anyone dares to disagree with the liar and Chief are automatically labeled a racist, why is that?

As far as the deficit goes you are clueless. Did the GOP play a part in the debt, yes but not as big as the democrats, starting with FDR. I also remember that the democrats voted to support the two wars which in our government means they agreed to fund them. President Bush told the nation that this was not going to end quickly and that the fight would take a long time, longer than his administration, so we were warned. On that note if your beloved clinton would have done his job instead of playing around with everything in a skirt these wars could have possibly been avoided, but I digress.

I have read and continue to re-read the Constitution and the Federalist Papers and anything I can about the Founding Fathers, why do you need me to read it to you so you can understand it? Better yet Hillsdale College is offering a free course on the Constitution, here’s the link: http://constitution.hillsdale.edu/. I hope this will be of some benefit to you.

Other party caricature

Of high profilers in the news,

Tried true politics for sure,

Part of why We the People lose.

The game is trash the other side,

And twist the truth in any way.

It's who and what gets better lied

That determines election day.

If politicians told the truth

About themselves, then we might take

That truth into the voting booth.

What a difference that could make!

As it is, all we have are lies

About those other gals and guys.

ROBERT, SAVE YOUR INK...

The Progressive elite, and their minions of lurching, glassy-eyed Obamatrons, will reelect the vacuous, grinning huckster with the help of the mountain of loot he's be out collecting 24/7.

So like I said - save your ink or write about something important.

there was no need to watch the movie " game change" to know that sarah p.,was not then and is not now mentality fit to be president of the united states.

her lack of knowledge about history and world topics of the day is shocking.

Larry you do realize this is a commentary not news reporting. The writer found it amusing that the Democratic party was using inane comments that seem come in never ending supply from a ill-informed Republican gas bag.

Larry you do realize the deficit is a direct result of the Republican administration inability to pay for two wars. The Republican Party kicked that can down the road for another administration to take care of.

Larry have you read the constitution or have you had others read it to you.

I can't help but wonder why liberals, and the liberal media consistently and continually denigrate Sarah Palin, but cover every comment she makes. She's a former politician and a private citizen, yet the president of the United States monitors her every move. His campaign manager is compelled to respond to her so-called ridiculous comments. This

is a gift that keeps on giving? What kind of half-baked analysis is that? Sounds like she has a base that the left has not found any way to re-orient or dissuade.

Robert Grow up, "former half-term Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin", Really?

And you pinheads wonder why the American people no longer have any respect for the media.

No bias here, no none at all!

The obama campaign will talk about anything expect his terrible record or the current state of this country, and all you media sheep will just follow along. What a proud profession the media was, but now it is just a disgrace and an insult to the Constitution. Keep up the good work.

BTW, what is the national debt today?
