The GOP is a broken party regardless of who they nominate. They have alienated the Ron Paul supporters, the anti-war supporters, the Conservatives, the Evangelicals, the black and the women voters. It needs to break and put back together with the message of Constitutional, fiscally conservatives

Sarah was given one of the highest approval records in polls in Alaska. You are not even playing in the ball park.
You had a 1/2 term Governor because the State does not protect their officials from nonsense lawsuits. With $ 1/2 million in legal bills and no end in site, Sarah had to step down though she won EVER SINGLE LAWSUITE. So you find fault with that. NORM FOR LIBERAL.
Sarah has shown “political pull”, while Nov. 2, 2010 buma DID NOT. Loses in record breaking numbers in D.C. and Nationwide.
SARAH you say is NOTHING but you sure PUT HER DOWN. People general don’t beat a dead horse. Especially someone with no hat in the ring.

the only thing that i would add to the well written comments by bing of al. is that palin was unable to cope as governor.aside from her being a fresh face on the national scene in 2008 was ill prepared( an still is ) for consideration to high public office.

I know why she left early, she's still a 1/2 term governor. Her mayoral record and gubernatorial record are unremarkable at best. Her grasp of world affairs is laughable. She says she's against big government which is funny coming from Governor of Alaska that rakes in more federal dollars than it puts in.
The 2010 elections were a "wave" election, a throw the bums out election, not some mandate nor because Sarah was for these candidates. As I recollect she back some winnters and some losers. She has no coattails for anybody other than a tea partier. She got nobody elected, moderates and independents did. As for her attracting votes, with her on the ticket Obama won 55 percent of the female vote. The women sure were not impressed. She helped McCain not one twit. Check any poll of note and her unfavorables are much higher than her favorables. You give her way too much credit. The media loves her because she's pretty and says outlandish things.
I don't dislike her, seems like a nice enough lady, but presidential material???? Commander-In-Chief material, no way! I do give her credit though, she's smart enough to cash in. I find fault with her not because I'm a liberal (I'm a Blue-Dog Democrat), I find fault with her because she is an intellectual lightweight. I think our President should be somebody smarter than me, not somebody who isn't. Take away the one-liners, the cliches, and glib remarks and what do you have left? Not much. There are a lot of smart Republican women who are good enough to be President. She's not one of them.

Why does anybody care what 1/2 term Governor Sarah Palin has to say? I have yet to see her register any political pull. She has just become another political pundit and she's raking in the cash. The term narcistic comes to mind. She's just an empty dress. If she looked like Godla Meir, nobody would pay her any attention at all. She's all flash and no substance.
