When Mitt Romney Came to Town--Deleted Scenes

January 13, 2012 RSS Feed Print

Have you seen When Mitt Romney Came to Town, the 30 minute attack ad being distributed by a Super-PAC (or as they should more properly be termed, Hench-PAC) supporting Newt Gingrich? If you haven’t, you should—it will take its place alongside Lyndon Johnson’s “Daisy” commercial as being among the most devastating hit pieces of all time. But really, it could have been much worse. Herewith a collection of some of the material that ended up on the cutting room floor. Suggest your own in the comments section below or on Twitter with a #deletedbain hashtag.

[See political cartoons about Mitt Romney.]

* A gaunt, loin-clothed Mitt Romney is seen biting the head off a fish while singing nonsensical songs to himself. He refers to the presidency as “the precious,” and mutters angrily about “that fat, stupid, Gingriches.”

* Romney pressures his kids to name the next grandchild “Corporation”—just to prove a point.

* Bain systematically destroys companies with employees named Sarah Conner.

[Check out political cartoons about the 2012 GOP candidates.]

* Romney hunts blue collar workers and other "small varmints" for sport.

* A factory worker laid off by Bain painfully recounts how Romney would twirl the end of his mustache after tying laid off employees to the train tracks.

* Using money from foreign investors, Romney finances the Star Wars prequels

[Read Robert Schlesinger: Mitt Romney's Lies]

* In a speech rallying Bain corporate vultures, Romney wields a giant broadsword while declaring that the best thing in life is to “crush the middle class, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.”

* Romney leverages The Sopranos, forcing the series finale to be cut off 30 seconds early.

* As his coffee cup shatters on the floor, Newt Gingrich realizes too late that Romney was Keyser Soze the whole time.

* In a deleted climactic scene, Romney destroys five different companies while his godson is being baptized.

* Three words: Massachusetts chainsaw massacre.

Paul is good at throwing his MUD on his third try for WH.. Too bad he HAS NO ACCOMPLISHMENTS to run on. His authority would be Presidential orders and saying NO. A lot to solve our PROBLEMS ? I don’t see it.

Cling unto your 3rd time mud slinger...

Wow, Newt is Desperate! His 30 minute video made me laugh the whole way through. I don't care what the idiots say who can't think for themselves. Hopefully most people will see through the Newt, Obama liberal media lies and propaganda. Mitt is the best candidate bar none! Its so obvious and if people simply did honest, accurate study they'd understand this. The republican party gets the most remarkable, stellar, good man we've seen in decades and just turns away because they don't believe he's for real or believe the political lies designed to slander Romney. The funny thing is that most everything the rivals have claimed about Romney is really what they're problem is and or is purely false. I've been impressed that Romney has been the most honest and honorable grown up in this process. Do your research and you'll see the truth. If America makes the same mistake as last time and doesn't choose Mitt, we're done far. Without Mitt's expertise and experience put to work asap we'll be toast in a couple of years since we're on the verge of government fiscal collapse. I hope for our counties sake they make the right decision.
