The Contrast Obama Wanted to Draw With the GOP Debate

"Let that contrast stand opposite the can-do chief executive trying to rise above partisan acrimony to solve the biggest problem facing the country."

Rise above partisan acrimony? Please. Obama ADDED to the acrimony by intentionally picking the Republican debate date. What part of that don't you understand? Obama is all politics all the time.

Well Bucky Bales, in the business of baling the billet-- a bill might not be the best, but better could be the bringing back of less burdensome tax on business while binding the bleeding of budegetary spending so the builder, business, and the banker would all benefit befittingly or maybe Barack Obama's unbridled behavior will begin to be blocked.

Obama wanted to address congress on their first day back from vacation, some GOP senators want to spend their first day back at work campaigning for themselves at the debate on our dime and our time.

BTW, how many job creation bills have the GOP passed in the 270 days they've held the speaker's gavel?

Yes, your right... he will be rising above it all at 7pm Eastern Time.

"Let that contrast stand opposite the can-do chief executive..." Huh? Obama the Wimp? A can-do executive? What have you been smoking?

Did you know the speech will be opposite the NFL Opening Night? There go the male voters!

Obama's only hope to get his liberal and progressive base out to vote next year is to demonize and villify the opposition. That's where Robert Schiesslinger's doody drivel comes in.

Obama himself as President has fallen woefully short of what Obamalove expected based on Candidate Obama, and before that Senator Obama.

In particular in terms of falling short, Obama will only drawdown Af-Pak escalation by HALF of what he escalated. That would still leave DOUBLE the troops in Af-Pak from when he first took office in 2009. And who back in '08 thought this would happen: Obama started a THIRD war, in Libya. Continuing to swallow those two neocon things from Obama in the hope of getting more domestic debt-based goodies from Obama is becoming hard to do for even the most jaded liberal or progressive.

Actually, it's impossible. Now that more than half are in no mood whatsoever for any more domestic debt-based stimuli, the only candy Obama could give to progressives and liberals would come from further curtailing Iraq, Af-Pak, and Libya operations and redirecting money saved from that curtailment back to the homefront.

But Obama won't do that. Hence his predicament with liberals and progressives. And their predicament with him.

Obama has been a great president -- for Bush-Cheney neocon warmongers, Hamid Karzai, and now the Libyan rebels.

Hey liberals, progressives, and swing voters from '08: You should have thought twice before atta-boy slapping Obama on the back for his promised Af-Pak escalation back in 2008. You clowns didn't think the money would run out for everything else before 2012, now did you? Actually thought Af-Pak would be a breeze with Obama in charge, now didn't you? Happy with how Obama showed us all how much better and smarter he supposedly was than Bush when it came to wearing big-boy long foreign policy pants?

Yeah, that's right liberals and progressives. Obama played you two groups in particular.

Ron Paul 2012. Obama can jibber-jabber about job creation all he wants. It won't happen until our Iraq-Af-Pack-Libya involvement ends sooner -- MUCH SOONER -- rather than Obama's later. Or any other republican's later, outside of Paul.

Boehner disrespect of Obama is unprecedented. Obama is first black president. Boehner's behavior is disgraceful. He wants the president to fail because he and the GOP feel threatened by a black man who is more intelligent than they are.

On September 15, 2008, Uncle Sam had a heart attack and stopped breathing for several days. He also had a stroke and was later diagnosed with advanced kidney, liver and pancreatic cancer. He was kept alive only by virtue of a radical Lehman-ectomy. Sam was put on life support and his next of kin were notified for instructions. The family said that they loved their dear uncle and to spare no expense in saving him even if it takes decades. Heroic measures were taken and Sam has been in ICU since. Uncle’s medical history revealed several decades of chain-smoking, heavy intake of rich foods and alcohol, unsafe sex, bi-polar personality disorder, regular bar fighting, hard drug abuse, mosh pit diving and extended morbid obesity. Sam also suffered from moral hazard syndrome, a condition that had him gamble and lose other people’s money because it didn’t bother him one bit. After full heart, lung, kidney and liver transplants, hundreds of transfusions, regular relapses, daily code blues and a fortune’s worth of drugs, Uncle opened his eyes and was able to almost miraculously twitch his nose. Today, after selling everything they owned and borrowing every last penny to save and cure old Uncle, the homeless family is having second thoughts. Maybe the best thing, some say, is to just hoard their remaining gold and guns, have faith and put him back in God’s hands.

Good analysis. The truth shall set us free, and the teapublicans hypocrisy is best revealed by the light, so don't throw any shadow on them. Just compare and contrast will do for independents to see through the blind ignorance of teapublicans.
