The Donald figured out the Republicans running for 2012 are all lightweight wimps.

Trump has pizazz and he is the champion of the Nutty Right, to the chagrin of the Corporate Right (who has been stroking the Nutty Right).

The GOP created a Frankenstein of their own wildest craziness and now is going to be consumed by it with the likes of Trump. Sure Trump is wacko, but no more than Bachmann, Palin or Huckabee. Run, Donald, Run. For someone who wont even shake anyone's hand, the whole Trump phenom is a trip. If its going to take Trump to get some honesty back into the GOP, so be it.

Where was all this “compromise ” when each branch of government was firmly held by Democrats. When polls was solidly against barry’s agenda being passed. We were ridiculed as being the party of NO.

Democrats EARNED what happened Nov. 2, 2010.

In FEAR for their actions, Democrat control could not EVEN COME CLOSE to passing budget due Oct. , 2010.

“Compromise ”, we had to. Small cuts from what we wanted. Never fear, another Nov. 2, 2010 results election IS A COMMING.

This whole scenario about birtherism really seems beside the point. Like Obama or hate him (hate seems to predominate in many posts), rationality asks that we look at a person for his qualifications, how well he leads, the kinds of decisions he has made or is likely to make. This applies to any man or woman. Frankly, I wouldn't care if a president had lived anywhere, so long as what he does leads to a better path for our country.

I think the question about Trump is how well informed is he, how well would he lead, would he do those things which would lead to the betterment of America?

I don't know how anyone can tell how Trump would perform as President, as he has not really outlined much of what he would do, what he would like to get done. How well would he be accepted by those of his party and both parties, would he as a President create more acrimony or a sense of unity?

There was a day when things got done in this country, without a lot of bitterness and vitriol. If we are going to make it as a country, there need to be compromise and understanding, not endless squabbling.

Besides the fact that Trump has a personal $600 million headstart on Obama in terms of campaign finance, what gums Plouffe and his Bo Tai minions up more than a pound of government cheese is the way the average joe and josephine can relate positively to mega-rich guy Donald Trump, right in the midst of Plouffe and Bo Tai's continuing soak-the-rich schtick. And conversely Trump would know in advance what's on the mind of the great unwashed -- and what's important to us -- before Obama ever caught of whiff of that.

That's what differentiates Trump from Obama as a result of a real-estate career. Sure, both are egomaniacs that have things they want. But unlike Obama, Trump has the developed and documented ability to see things from the perspective of others, including adversaries, the great unwashed, and fellow tycoons -- and relate that to what he wants and how to go about getting it. Trump didn't get to where he's at by screwing everyone over in a real-estate deal everytime. He couldn't have, he's not in a Soros-type industry making his bones by betting against a nation's currency, and bringing misery to many, under the rationale of "if I didn't do it, someone else would have." Trump had to have helped others make money along the way, and continue to make money afterwards.

Concerning the birth-certificate issue, if the White House and Obama have proven conclusively that Obama does meet the citizenship requirement to be president, the reason that's not flying with so many is Obama's arugula-class arrogance and condescension. And that's Plouffe's bad to deal with, along with Axelrod and Dunn.

And if Trump's right that Obama doesn't meet citizenship requirements, as he's said that's the biggest fraud possible. Either way, the birth-certificate issue is both a bigger 'effen' deal now than before and yet it still can be a publicity-getting loss-leader for Trump should the White House and Obama somehow prove to any remaining skeptic that Obama is citizenship-qualified to be president. Trump can say fine, issue settled, then pound Obama relentlessly on many other issues.

Come to think of Plouffe, Axelrod, and Dunn, Trump has publicists too. But can you name any of his publicists offhand?

As to the Trump-trashing opinion pieces cited by Bo Tai, gees, we've seen it a thousand times before. Other potential republican candidates are praised when it's advantageous for the opinion writers who really don't give a ratsass about them otherwse.

We've even seen that type of schtick from Bo Tai quite recently. First he disparages Tea Party ideals with:

http://www.usnews.com/opinion/blogs/robert-schlesinger/2011/03/31/tea-party-should-declare-budget-victory-and-go-home

Then two weeks afterwards, Bo Tai confirms the Tea Party's original take on the 38.5:

http://www.usnews.com/opinion/blogs/robert-schlesinger/2011/04/15/the-numbers-behind-the-385-billion-or-352-million-budget-deal

Two further constipation-inducing notes for Plouffe and Bo Tai: I'd rather see Trump negotiate a trade agreement for us with another country than Obama. And Trump asks in broad forums the burning questions I have: Why are we footing the bill for making the Islamic world safe for Saudi Arabia without Saudi Arabia paying us back monetarily for the service -- and us having to borrow the money from China to do so no less?

FACTS...............

1. Obama refuses to release his original long form birth certificate and anyone that proclaims they have seen it at factcheck.org is totally blind and ignorant because that is not a long form birth certificate on their website. The fact that people don't konow the difference between the two at this stage of the debate is simply amazing.

2. Niether hospital in Hawaii has records of his birth. Both have been offered a $10,000 donation if they could prove it,yet niether hospital has come forward. By the way in the past few years both hospitals in Honolulu have been named as his birth hospital. Very strange.

3. No doctor or nurse has come forward. Of course this information would be on his long form birth certificate as would be the name of the hospital.

4. Obama had his kindergarten records sealed ....is it because it contains his long form birth certificate? Why in the hell would anyone seal their kindergarten records? If this issue alone doesn't spark your curiosity then you are simply not a very rational person.

5. The current Governor of Hawaii couldn't find the birth certificate despite his boasts that he would clear this situation up once and for all. By the way why didn't he just ask Dr. Fukina where it was, she has said that she has actually touched it and examined iT and yet the Governor couldn't locate it.

6. Tim Adams who used to work for the election commission in Hawaii signed a sworn affidavit stating that high ranking election officials told him that the long form birth certificate does not exist. Keep in mind he worked there. You have to ask yourself why do journalist like Robert refuse to include these (1-6) very pertinant facts when they write a story on the birth certificate issue. The answer is of course that they are protecting their savior and want to keep the American people from drawing their own conclusion. And they wonder why Americia mocks modern day journalism.

The most important point though is that hundreds of thousands if not millions of Americans now believe that Obama is clearly hiding something. Thirteen states are in the process of passing legislation that will require future candidates to show their long form birth certificate and over 4 dozen lawsuits are making there way through the courts demanding to see the long form birth certificate. This should prove to everyone that this is not a trivial matter anymore and yet this is exactly what little Robert and his Obama journalist army want you to keep believing, that the birth certificate issue is both trivial and meaningless. What is strangest of all is that Barrack Obama could put it all to rest by simply relasing this $17 document, yet he refuses to do it. Americans are not stupid, something is clearly not right here and thanks to Trump this issue will never go away until he comes clean.Ask yourself people .....Why won't he simply release the document!!!

Silly Robert is too clever by half trying desperately to straddle the fence and just getting saddle sores for his trouble. Boringggg, as Homer Simpson would say, silly as I would say. So forgetting him, let's get to the good stuff, namely Barry Sotoro.

Clearly he is disaster for this Country. How to get rid of him is job one. Who can do it? Republicans tend to run losers, thus we only have a few winners in the past. TR was one, Reagan another. We need another winner. It is likely that Trump is our best bet. At this point he has my vote and support. Anyone to be President must have imaculate credentials from the BASE of their own party. That is just for openers. Only Sarah, and Trump have that status as it stands now. And of the two Trump is more electable in the General Election. Now whine all you will, but the reality is no one can be President without the fervent support of their BASE. McCain did NOT have it, and lost, and Bush Sr did not have it and lost. Forget the array of dwarfs that are just going through the motions like Pawlenty, Huckabee, and so on. They don't stand a chance. Trump is the man as it stands and I think he can go all the way. Certainly his is a great improvement over Obamie.
