The difference between what happened with Obama's health care legislation and what Walker is doing is that the health care law involved a great deal of compromise with republicans - compromise that began even as the law was being drafted, hence no single payer plan. The labor unions in Wisconsin have conceded to the "give backs" that Walker demanded in terms of health insurance and pensions, even though those are part of a compensation package; workers receive a smaller salary in exchange for these benefits. The money that they forgo in accepting salaries that are below market rate is what funds these benefits, not taxpayer dollars at large.

What Walker is doing is wrongheaded and it is a canard to compare him to Obama, who has compromised so much on every issue that he has largely alienated his own base.

Sorry, but obama started all of this with "obamacare" and I believe "cramming down the throat" is now fair game from Wisconsin to the repeal of this national healthcare montrosity.

.....then, we can stop the "cramming down the throat".
