Poll: Birthers Now Make Up a Majority of Republican Primary Voters

This may be a old saying but there is some merit to it. Like it or not, all the President need do is offer a genuine birth certicate that can be duly authenticated, and end of story. And if Hawaii's state law needs to be trumped in order for a release of said documents to be procured - then so be it.

It is a serious enough issue that all contenders for the highest office in the land should be required to do so as a minimum. In other words, the American public has a right to know beyond a shadow of a doubt, and a growing number of citizen are also wanting this issue to put to rest for good.

Unlike most past presidents, we know little about President Obama early childhood history that can be verified, or his college records, just sketchy stuff at best. He has a cousin in Kenya who is an open Marxist for whom he once campaigned, for instance. So it is a curiousity, to say the least. Other reports have stated that one of the presidents grandmothers was at the hospital in Nairobi when he was born.

Rules are rules and laws are laws, and they should apply to all across the board -no exceptions. If legitimate proof exists for his birth in the U.S., then he should be forthcoming with it. To me it seems to be a no-brainer, and would enhance his ability to get on with the office he is governing with less distraction - just saying...

There needs to be a public federal investigation into how Hawaii could screw up their records for a man's birth and citizenship. There could be racial issues here. This incompetence on the part of the state doesn't happen to white people but it happens to a great black man?

The people who work for the Hawaii state government who screwed up his records need to found and punished.

I know of no other white people with these issues but along comes a black man and they screw up his paperwork? There is racism here.

Really sad that the rest of us have to put up with the delusions of this bunch. In the words of Ronald Reagan - "I didn't leave my party, my party left me." No wonder the Democrats are now the party known for getting things done. The GOP is too busy arguing amongst itself about how valid are conspiracies.

They sure laughed Nov. 2. All the way to the polls.

The long and short of it is that birthers are nutz. They persist in their little fantasy world thatthey have created while the rest of the country looks on and laughs at them.

Recently Robert Schlesinger quoted this CNN poll saying no two terms for barry:

CNN poll said "Will Obama win? Fifty-one percent of the public says no, with 46 percent predicting he will claim victory in November of 2012."

Seriously. This nonsense will do nothing more than drive the moderates, independents and rational people away from the party.
