The Globe reporter who did that article spoke to the NH Tea Party and wrote the exact opposite of what is going on there.

So much for truth in journalism.

Romney is not supported by the NH Tea Party. Period.

As someone who could be classified as a "Tea Party sympathizer", I can tell you that I will vote against Romney in my state's primary, and if he is nominated by the Republicans, I will not vote in November 2012. He is the Democrats's dream candidate. John McCain part II. Obama will cruise to victory. You can mark that down in ink now, because it is a stone cold fact.

Sorry, if Romney gets the nomination 16 million Southern Baptists stay home on election day.

All I need to know about Romney is found in his book, No Apology. He's smart, squeaky clean, a great family man, and understands how to get things done. He has terrific executive skills and a vision that is sensible and conservative.

I'm all about the tea party and all about Mitt Romney. I hope he runs. Not only can he beat Obama and get rid of his socialist agenda but he will restore our faith in America, our financial discipline and our respect for the military, but as he said in 2008 "i will rebuild the federal government from the ground up". That's what i want to see happen.

He's got my vote.

You guys said that if Mitt is the nominee,Obama will be in,that is so funny, because they are hate Mitt and don't know who has leadership style, they don't know how to compare leadership experienced,Obama has nothing to compare with Mitt, and all political leader are luck of leadership experienced, accept Mitt. Mitt is on the top of all by his economies and entire life experienced at every things he had done for America, just some thing he did mistake, but the most were success, that kind of leadership that American people really need right now,you guys hate your leader but the democrats love and afraid Mitt. Even some one said they need the new face, but no new face now that can compare with Mitt, even the democrats party.Mitt is the right man for the right job,the right leader for the right country, the right people for the right place, and the right president for the right time.

...and that's why I'll never vote for the changeling. It doesn't matter what rhetoric he put into his book to gloss over his RINOism, his actions speak for themselves and he doesn't deserve the nomination because of it. No one will ever convince me to vote for him. If he gets the nomination, I'll just stay home.

Although I haven't been to any meetings or rallies, my views line up with most of the tea party views, and they fit hand in glove with those of Mitt Romney. All it takes for a tea party member to support Romney is for them to learn firsthand what his views are. Tea party members, independents, and all other thoughtful voters should read Romney's book, No Apologies, and then decide for yourself who to support. Do not take the word of bigots who spew their own hateful opinions rather than the truth.

It is of great importance that Mitt is for limited government. He does not advocate a nationwide healthcare program, and is the ideal person to lead the repeal of this abominable bill. Mitt has the ability to turn our economy and our country around. Our need for national fiscal responsibility is very great. We are already in financial bondage; bondage of a much more severe sort is not out of the question.

If we don't get our financial house in order soon, the Chinese will own us, lock, stock, and barrel. China is not known for their compassion. I do not see them as a sympathetic landlord. Their military is getting stronger and if we continue to get weaker, we will not be able to overcome their strength.

There is a big difference between Obamacare and the Healthcare in Massachusetts. One is that Obamacare is not constitutional even if it was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate. The constitution wanted the states to have certain rights and the Federal government to have limited rights. A state has the right to offer healthcare to its citizens universally while the Federal Government does not. Too many people use the Commerce clause to pass anything they see fit. So the big debate is on state rights and federal government rights not healthcare itself. We do not want a powerful federal government. That would be too much power that if in the wrong hands can do much damage to our individual liberties.

For all that the Tea Party is supposed to stand for it should be glad to have someone like Mitt Romney be the GOP's nominee for president in 2012. He is a man of integrity, honor and good moral values. He is a man of great ability and would be the best person to beat Obama. I am tired of people sounding off all sorts of accusations that have no bearing or credibility other than that someone does not like Mitt which for most of his accusers has its roots in his religion more than anything else. Shouldn't the Tea Party and conservatives also believe in Freedom of Religion?

I will personally do all I can to see someone like Mitt get nominated not only as the GOP nominee, but for president as well. I care too much about my country. We need someone who can get us out of not only our economic mess but would help us turn our country back to what the constitution had designed it to be.
