"Miller power grab"? Murkowski is the one who clung to power like a tick on a dog. She is totally selfish and corrupt. She claims on PBS that she is unaffiliated with any party. Why do Senate Republicans accept her?

A. Sudden, massive, nationwide head injury suffered by anyone with integrity.

Seems Judge feels Joe has a point or Judge needs more time to consider the law.

Whatever it is be the law should rule.

Liberals cried when Supreme Court ruled all ballots for State of Florida must be judged in the same manner throughout the State. Not one way here and another way there. Your side loss and I remember the protest. Don't see protest happening if Joe loses. We are adults.

Joes is simple following legal options. As al gore did...

10,000 more people took the time to mark the oval and write in a name close enough to Murkowski as to refudiate Joe Miller, then the lazy people who didn't write in their choice.

Only a Tea Ballsucker would want big government to throw out 10,000 voter's ballots. Crybaby bad loser can't face the fact that 100,000 people said NO WAY JOE, YOU'RE OUTTA HERE!

What bunk! Loser Liberal Lisa Murkowski does not support [or makes a "power play?"] the eventual winner, that would be JoeMiller.us, in the primary election! Then you, Robert Schlesinger, accuse Joe Miller of prolonging the inevitable? You mock and deride Mr. Miller, but breathlessly support Mrs. Murkowski ... it simply amazes me ... Murkowski is an ally of the Liberal Left is the only reason that makes sense ...

I seem to recall, ballots being found in car trunks, missing ballots, dead people and convicts voting for Al, Vet's being disenfranchised and ACORN meddling. Probably just a right wing smear campaign....

The truly terrifying thing is that there are millions of people stupid enough to vote for Franken, Pelosi or Boxer - seems our states have something in common.

Recent election gave us signal of barry’s job performance appreciation. You can kick Sarah all you want. She’s a big force in politics. Can take.

obama took a beating in recent election. People gave him Republican full House to make his next 2 years happy ones.

That would mean Florida has own. You sad “note: 49 other states have their own election laws, not governed by Federal laws.”. Florida went to Supreme Court. What is your point ?

Bill Hedges of MO 1:05PM November 19, 2010

If you throw out computer votes, you throw out Joe Miller's lead as well.

What's missing from this piece, especially from a pretty good author, is the fact Palin donated $5k from BearPAC to his recount campaign.

Pretty big statement, even if she is quiet (which is by design)

Wow, playing the unAmerican card if one disagrees with Joe Miller, right? I guess I must not be an American, despite my citizenship status of "Natural Born" because I disagree with Joe Miller. His tallies WERE counted on election night....however, not RECOUNTED by hand. You point to the machines.....how come this wasn't brought up BEFORE the election and changed BEFORE the elections commission counted how many votes were for Murkowski?

Damned tea baggers think that anyone who disagrees with them is UnAmerican....your hatred for those that do not have the same opinions as you and your disdain for the rule of law (when it doesn't fit your views) is really what's unAmerican.

Chris of MN 12:37PM November 19, 2010

We do NOT know what the will of the people is yet. The VOTES have not been counted.

That's right they have NOT been counted. All we have is a vote count on the WRITE IN ballots.

All the others were not counted but rather had a "results" spit out to us by those wacky Diebold computerized count machines which have been proven in Florida and more recently in Alaska to be easily rigged.

So what's the problem. Let's count and tabulate the actual ballots to protect the integrity of the vote. Anyone wanting otherwise is anti-American and afraid someone is hiding something.
