Robert needs to go back and read his Daddy's book Imperial Presidency...and he will discover the Democrat version of Nixon...a person so convinced that HE is right and everyone else too stupid to see it, and therefore AGAINST him, that he ignores the public and refuses to communicate, but prefers to LECTURE and PONTIFICATE from his self appointed pedestal . Obama not only fancys himself King, but MESSIAH as well.

When I was little my brother would tease me about everything! He could make me cry and fall on the ground crying to God for death. It reminds me of how people look for any little thing President Obama does or said or the pants he wore on a family outing, to mock, complain about, or desperately try to find fault in. I have never heard this crap about any president! What about Nixon?

Come on people, I am sure you could do his job so much better! and if you or your choice where president you could wow america with your wisdom! Give him a break and please dont compair him to President Bush they are nothing alike. Why the attitudes!

How long will it take for us to wake up to the reality that when you have to sell your soul to campaign contributors to get elected, then pay them back with earmarks ten times the amount of their contribution, we can only have prostitutes "representing" "us".

And if you don't know what earmarks are, no wonder we continue the MONocracy - government of lobbyists, by the lobbyists, FOR the lobbyists.

The title to the the story is "Obama's Politics Problem".

Its really simple folks they give us the shell game. They give us the hard and tough republican Pres complete with cod piece, landing on the deck of a aircraft carrier, Mr pres, AWOL drugge complete with Background banner saying mission accomplished. Then they give us the Mr change "any man" drinking a beer with a bigot cop, the new pres bales out the banks, just like the old pres did. Compare George W bush and Barack Obamas campaign contributors. For the most part they are the same. No Change. Its a shell game folks!

While Bush's plan for corporate responsibility appears admirable. This plan was only voluntary. Corporations were not required to follow this plan, unless, of course, they wanted to follow it. It is probably anybody's guess as to which corporations embraced this 10 point plan. I have a sinking feeling that there were only a paltry few corporations, if any, as it wasn't in their best interests for making profits. The plan was not enforced.

The herd in DC have gotten used to sitting on their duffs throwing money out the window. They seem to equate having another "summit cum info session" with getting the job done. Wake up ! Talk does not create jobs. It appears that the current pampered lot couldn't "run water" let alone the country. Surprise -- there are real people out here in the hinterland who pay your salaries for "DOING

something" -- not blathering about it ! (take Harry Reid's state with one of the worst unemployment problems in the country and nothing but blah-blah to show for his salary). Wake up, o'sleepers. Clean out your desks ! You might have to do some actual work as you shuffle out the exit on Nov. 2 -- Personally, I can hardly wait for the photo opportunity!

So the lesson we can learn from this problem is that the politicians who pander most to the unwashed kneejerk citizens (who are out in force today) and tell them what to think about the issues of the day, are the most long lasting and "popular" politicians. In other words, propaganda is highly effective. Well gee, I guess nothing ever changes.

Meanwhile the intelligent determined heads of state who feel that actions speak louder than words are marginalized and derided for not stooping to the level of the least analytical and independently minded citizen. Look where that usually leads countries. Into fear and hate ridden anti-intellectual, anti-progress ideology.

Oh wait. What's happening right now?

“The Obama Lawsuit was on behalf of a client who faced discrimination ”.

Case was settled. Many such cases are settled not necessarily because of guilt, but bad press. Bad PR.

Lawyer barry and Acorn used this to their best advantage. They went to different banks interrupting boards meetings and went to banks CEO’s homes. Threatened if more loans were not given they too would face racist charges with lawyer obama‘s help.

“Lying Pelosi said Bush did not warn.”

Actually that is Congress committee ability/requirement to know. But Bush did warn from year one in office of financial problems.

Here are just the warnings from his 2nd year. In link you can find the vast number of warnings:

“ 2002”

“May: The President calls for the disclosure and corporate governance principles contained in his 10-point plan for corporate responsibility to apply to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. (OMB Prompt Letter to OFHEO, 5/29/02)”

http://gatewaypundit.firstthings.com/2010/05/pelosi-caught-in-major-lie-says-bush-didnt-warn-congress-about-financial-crisis-records-show-he-warned-congress-17-in-2008-alone/

Bush “10-point plan for corporate responsibility” ?

"Improve the accessibility and accuracy of company and shareholder information"

"Make auditors independent"

"Increase management accountability"

"To put the plan into practice, a number of measures have been taken:"

"An oversight board will ensure that SEC standards for auditing and accounting are being met. Members who have no ties to the accounting profession will run the board. In addition, reports will be made to the public."

"A newly created Corporate Fraud Task Force will investigate corporate criminal activity and bring charges against guilty parties."

"Consequences for corporate fraud have been heightened: prison time for criminal fraud has been lengthened, and suspicious activities are being investigated more intensely."

"CEOs and CFOs are being required to personally certify that their corporation’s quarterly reports are accurate. This requirement aims to make CEOs and CFOs personally responsible for actions affecting their corporation’s shareholders."

"CEOs and directors will be required to disclose to the public complete, clear information on their benefit and compensation plans. Further, compensation committees have been asked to limit loans made to directors out of company funds."

So often Steve you said Bush only wanted to clean up Fannie and Freddie. Now you can stop saying that garbage lie.

is nothing more than "huckstering" votes. And, BHO is right, he is an excellent huckster. Trouble is, "common sense" America - "fly over country" to the progressive, green elite - is tired of the tinhorn phony in the White House and his imperious, ideological cronies in the Congress.

Lincoln said it best, "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all the people some of the time, but you can't fool all the people all of the time."

Used car salesmen and politicians never seem to learn that lesson - and so the game continues.

Yes.

"Read my lips. No new taxes".

I do not even have to look that quote up...

His fate was sealed by raising taxes. barry's agenda seals his fate.
