Praying that Kirkpatrick and enough other congressmen will have the courage to VOTE NO! Here's why: This HEALTH CARE BILL redefines the relationship between the citizen and the state in fundamental ways that MAKE LIMITED GOVERNMENT ALL BUT IMPOSSIBLE! ~ SCARY! ~

No body said Republicans did not use reconciliation !

obama can brag of 3,000 % cut in health care cuts for employers if passed.

If it makes sense to you ?????????

EXPECT CLARITY REMARKS TOMARROW. YEAH... YOU THOUGHT BUSH AND BIDEN WAS STUPID WAS DUMB...

Perhaps, and I'll conceed to your recollection. But, I can promise that none of that legislation then involved a restructuring of the entire economy, the massive rollout of another "entitlement" program. It didn't involve the massive distortion by liberal leftist. It didn't train the administrations guns like this has. It didn't carry the threat of jail time for failing to subscribe to forced compassion.

I believe there is a world of difference between what I just described and what's been happening versus sundry issues like the naming of a federal post office building.

Let’s be honest

I realize the republicans have been crying foul a lot lately but if I may jog your memory…..Newt Gingrich and the republicans used this rule 90 times while in control.

They also passed their “wealth-biased,” corporate leaning, union hating legislation such as the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans through a process called reconciliation 16 times.

Just because now when you don’t like the path of the current administration, to cry foul because we are using the same method of passage of legislation that your party used while in power…..is quite hypocritical.

You wrote: Look, I'm for anything--within the rules--that will get 216 "aye" votes for the Senate bill this weekend."

But then you go on to say, "if this is what it takes to pass the thing let's do the deem-and-pass two step."

Do you advocate following the rules? Or does the end justify the means so therefore, bend/break/create/fabricate the rules so long as health care passes?

This whole health debacle is a farce . . . I can't wait till the dust settles and we finally see the final concoction of wheeling dealing, arm twisting, perks, pork and what not the "swamp thing" Pelosi has cooked-up!

Pelosi/Reid/Obama marched the Democrat party off the cliff. There's no cover for them in October/November.

REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER…VOTE THEM OUT!!!

It is time for the American people to start talking about IMPEACHMENT.

REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER…VOTE THEM OUT!!!

Most are smart enough. The right seems to have a problem with looking back. Just a few years ago the left had a ground swell in turning red to blue. They refuse to realize that the minorities are getting smarter by the moment. Don't they realize that their failure to shut down the radical right wing radio, Fox news nuts. Many, many things have been said that face slaps of racist views. Comments about our president to a new supreme court judge. Comments that slapped the face of to growing in size minority groups. Groups that changed an election and will change many more to come. cpac linking itself to the john birch society. wow, that was a no brainier.

The abuse of the filibuster to stop the peoples work. over 100 in the 110th congress and more than 40 so far in the 111th.

do the swing think voters are dumb? sure but it only shows how dumb they are. The swings are nothing more than republicans in sheep's clothing. The tea bag party is a force but a force that is only splitting the GOP, and we have all seen their signs. If the GOP wants to be a force once again. they need to clean up their act and move from 1940 to 2010. If not they will again see just how smart and how many more voters there is.

health care reform, it is the right thing to do, the American thing to do, and above all the christian thing to do.

REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER…VOTE THEM OUT!!!

If the average middle class American does not do what his boss wants, he gets fired. Since the Congress and Administration plan to ram a healthcare bill into law the American people do not want, they should be FIRED. It is time to VOTE THEM OUT!!! The Congress and Administration want to use a process that was never intended to be used for this purpose to ram this bill into law against the will of the American people. This sets a dangerous precedent that subverts our system of government. Anyone that votes in favor of this bill is the enemy of our system of government. It is time to VOTE THEM OUT!!! ABRAHAM LINCOLN said “and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth”. The American people are the boss not the Congress or Administration. It is time to take our government back from the arrogant members of Congress and Administration who think they know better how we should live our lives than we do. It is time to VOTE THEM OUT!!! REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER…VOTE THEM OUT!!!

"Yes the people are smart"

They'll have to prove it before I believe it. Lots of folks running around "proud" to be an American, flaunting their "patriotism". Yet they can't name the three branches of government or remember the words to the national anthem, much less display any depth of knowledge of our history.

Too many people have the memory span of a goldfish, and it always comes back to bite them. Republicans already threw these bozos out of power in 1994. Replaced them with their own bozos. And when the GOP snatches control back in 2010, we'll still have a Congress that stinks.

Rich of CO 2:07AM March 16, 2010

“And the American people are smart enough to realize that.”

Yes the people are smart. Polls show low rating for President, against obamacare. Frankly, his whole agenda.
