The urgency of his message? Please think for yourself madame, or at least fact check for yourself. I am not saying that conservative ideology is wrong, I am just saying there has to be a more reasonable person to listen to than Glenn Beck or Sarah Palin. Someone that maybe has actual ideas or real facts to back up their arguments. Or we could listen to Glenn Beck who says someone from the Vatican says his work is wildly important, it sounds the same as John Smith saying an Angel appeared to him...but no one else can see.

I knew Palin was low on integrity when she tried to imply Obama was a dangerous guy who pals around with terrorists, but this is a new low. Using her son to make a point she clearly does not genuinely believe is deplorable. Palin exposed herself as a hypocrite, eager to use her family for political points. That she attempted to defend Rush Limbaugh using "retard" as acceptable because it's satire speaks volumes on her intelligence and her integrity. Surely, we can find a better spokesperson for the retards on the right.

Glenn Beck is a daily guest in our home. We do not miss an episode. We DVR his program because of the urgency of his message.

Although, I have listened to the audio of his interview with Mary Lynn Rajskub, and am sad. I not believe this was a derogatorius expression about the mentally challenged. His point was to laugh at Ms Rajskub for her implicaton of her accomplished artistic ability.

He himself has a challenged child. Why would he do such a thing?

I would love to hear what he has to say and if indeed he was poking fun, I would hope he would apologize.

I do not like the misleading title of article. Of course as Conservative I don't appreciate his liberal stance.

However words are important. Have you seen a child put down in public by his mother, or any such tragic situation ?

I agree there are more important things, but we must not lose our humanity. Getting use to degrading is something I don’t want to get use to.

IN READING ALL THE RHETORIC IN THIS WEEK'S NEWS WITH REGARD TO THE "R" WORD AND OFF-HAND RACIAL COMMENTS. I BELIEVE WE HAVE LOST OUR SENSE OF DIRECTION ON ALL SIDES. WE ARE SO CAUGHT UP IN WHAT IS POLITICALLY CORRECT AND SO ANXIOUS TO POINT FINGERS, THAT WE CAN'T SEE THE CRITICAL ISSUES THAT NEED OUR ATTENTION, OUR TIME AND OUR ENERGY. SURELY, WE HAVE THE CAPACITY, THE FORBEARANCE AND FORGIVENESS OF HEART TO LOOK PAST OUR HATRED AND OUTRAGE, PAST OUR POLITICAL SENSITIVITIES, WHETHER LIBERAL OR CONSERVATIVE, TO GET DOWN TO THE BUSINESS OF THE PEOPLE.

Amen "Kay",Palin reminds me of Andy Griffith's film character "Lonesome Rhodes in "A Face in the Crowd. We are just one open microphone away from a big let down.My religious beliefs & personal values are not going to be co-opted as easily as she thinks.I am confident that Obama & radical friends are very beatable. We the People will find the right person this time out ...and it won't be Hillary or Palin.

Do you call your wife, sister, and daughter 'b---.'. " is a word in the english language. It doesn't have to refer to " anything bad. They are female.

If you still don't understand, well, you should have already understood. Good luck...

Retarded is a word in the english language. It doesn't have to refer to mentally handicapped people. This is politics and ONLY politics that Palin is involved in here.

I am a conservative. I back to the Tea Party movement passionately. I HATE that she is involved in it. She is annoying. She tried to playground nanny everyone, as if she is so perfect. I am just tired of it. I am so sick of right evangelical fanatics hijacking the GOP. She preaches abstinence but yet her own daughter got pregnant out of wedlock. Even the sound of her voice grates my nerves anymore. And now with this latest righteous indignation over a word....a freaking word for crying out loud. It is JUST a word. It has nothing to do with her kid, but she makes it about her Down's child. This is what annoys me the most. Nobody thought about HER baby in the context of Emmanual's comment or Rush's comment but she has to trounce along and make it all about her and her baby. ugh I wish she would just GO AWAY.
