This guy of NM, this liberal$#%@

I hate Boston, Liberals and the Criminal Kennedy's. Put a real celebrity in Mass to counter the criminals. It's okay for Franken the Hollywood scum of the earth to be in the senate.

What hypocrites like Muser of NM who counters with how Republicans will flood Schilling with money for his cause.

Hey Jackass what about Hollywood Scum money for Obama.

Your such a typical Liberal Hypocrite.

The crap that comes out of this guy's, the growing trend?

They ruined a good a$$hol% when they put teeth in your mouth, Muser!

Gov Romney ran as a moderate in the William Weld mold. Pro choice, okay on civil unions. He tacked right when he ran for president. This is why the ultra right side of my party is suspicious of him.

As for Curt Schilling. Many Democratic men will vote for him. They voted for Romney because they couldn't stand Shannon O'Brien his main opponent. She reminded everyone of their pain in the ** first wife. Martha Coakley is a social x-ray and reminds men of a real ice princess. One that is frigid in bed. Any alternative to that will be embraced. She will probably win the primary as the women in this state will run to vote for the first female US Senator. The women love to vote for women as long as they are D's.

Don't forget Jim Bunning (who also pitched for the Phillies). I'm not sure I accept Amasa's premise, though, that a conservative Republican can't win in Massachussets. Mitt Romney was elected governor there.

The article neglected to mention two of the most famous sports politicians in recent history. Jesse Ventura, governor of Minnesota and Arnold Swarznegger, governor of California.

Really I don't see any indication that Curt Schilling is a conservative. I am a moderate Republican Jewish woman and I supported Bush and McCain. I think that the Dem's would like him to be a conservative but there is no evidence of that yet.

there is no way that a conservative republican could ever win a senate seat in MA. Red Sox nation is very thankful for what Curt did on the baseball mound, but not too thankful for his generous support to the Bush re-election campaign in 2004. I myself am a huge Sox fan, but could never see myself voting republican. Try Texas Curt.

It would make the special election more interesting anyway. A lot of radio stations have gone to sports talk recently, so he could get a lot of positive publicity from both conservative AM hosts and sports hosts.

Winning the election would be a different story, or course, unless The Greens come up with someone equally famous and liked to split the vote on the left.

I don't know if he can do this.
