Keep up the nonsense Republicans !

It's great to watch you drive deeper and deeper into the political wilderness and FURTHER reinforce your status as the Appalachian Party.

Some people can´t accept a lose no matter what. Many see their mother´s ghost or his totaled car in every corner. Is that infamous phase of denial.

Well, these people lost and we won. They can´t accept it and will look for ghosts around every corner and refuse to see reality. Factcheck.org did the research so we didn´t have to.

If no one came up with proof that Obama wasn´t born in the USA by now, we deserve Obama. Make it a gift from God.

DOW from 6k to 9k, thank you God.

Let me make my comment sound a bit better: Liz Cheney and her father are two rotten apples America can do without. Again, I can tell who the birther/fringe people are commenting on this site. It's very sad. Not really solving any issues are we? Nope, we'll waste our time with things like this...literally, made up, fantasies like this imagined from the desperate, far right to gain power and start ruining the country again. Please, sit on it so the rest of us can fix our country and move on from the fiasco of the last eight years that led to the terrible mess we're in...the mess Liz and her father helped create!

Well, I'm glad Liz Cheney is playing to the crazies. They're the only one who will vote for her when she runs for office. She knows what works with the uneducated, ignorant extremist fringe...stoking their fires of hate and fear. I think such moves reveal issues about her character that are neither flattering nor beneficial to anyone she represents. Apparently, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Liz Cheney, like her father, are two rotten apples that America can do without.

I am an independent voter but did in fact vote for a Republican president for the first time. This confusion over Obama's birth certificate seems easily resolved. I had to produce a birth certificate for my son to enter a basketball tournament several years ago. They would not accept a birth announcement from the hospital but a birth certificate from the county courthouse. Provide an actual birth certificate and will can move on to more important issues.

They're just as bad as the troofers. But so what if the nirther movement predates the Obama presidency? Candidate Obama trashed the United States abroad long before being elected. I am not a nirther. Those guys are a sideshow. There is a deep well of resentment towards Obama over foreign policy.

when I think it can't get worse it does. Last night Obama told the world that the Cambridge

police office that arrested his good friend Henry Gates was stupid. The police officer must be a

racist. Mr Gates could not have done anything that caused the police officer to arrest him. First of all Obama is not suppose to favor one American over the other. Second he should never had talked about this. Its not his business , and he should butt out. This officer has nothing to apologize for. He did his job which is more then I can say for Mr. Obama. Instead of spending your time talking about police officers why don't you work on what you were elected to do. I know it must be hard to work on real issues when you have a party at the White House every Wednesday night and you have spent more time flying you wife, kids and mother in law around the world in the last 6 months then Bush did the whole time he was in office. Obama is not our king and he and his congress need to stop acting as if he were

Seems to me that all these birthers are grasping at straws because Hawaii was a state when he was born there and whatever they may say, the definition of native born does NOT refer to being second generation. One is either born in this country or not--and the beauty of being an American is at least on paper, who we come from should not matter because once one is born here, one is an American.

If both parents must be born here to constitute natural born, then Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, James Buchanan, Chester Arthur, Woodrow Wilson and Herbert Hoover were also technically not eligible to hold office.

Using their logic, we would have a vast number of people who were born here but where one parent wasn't, who would suddenly find themselves not full citizens. I firmly believe that if the founders really wanted to restrict it to this, they would have been more clear and would have used stronger language across the board.

I just think this whole birther thing is grasping at straws and hoping to find some problem where none exists--and I bet money that if someone comes up who they like that has a non native born parent, that they'd be totally and completely silent on the whole matter instead of trying to make up things as they go along to suit themselves.

why is it that even when the facts have been presented, people just don;t listen. Fact is Obama is trying to keep this out of scrutiny, because he waS NOT BORN HERE. dO YOUR HOMRWORK...
