The conservatism you espouse has brought this country two costly wars, ever rising energy cost, a prescription drug benefit without funding and the almost Trillion dollar bailout of the Wall Street Titans. As for patriotism, the sheer transfer of wealth that takes place every time you fill up you gas tank for the benefit of our enemies is staggering. I advise you to look up the activites of Bain Capital. They buy distressed companies for the purpose of enriching themselves at the cost of destroying the employees. America is a great country with great people, who need to get to the work of repairing our economy and way of life. It's time for the Conservatives to put away their childish notions and engage in an honest discussion of the challenges facing our country. Turn off Rush, Fox News and spend some time in a library. I highly recommend the Constitution and President Eisenhower's farewell address for starters. The Wealth of Nations should also be on your reading list.

Didn't an unrelated legislation regarding guns being allowed in parks get included into a credit card bill? Time for all this political crap being added to bills in order to bypass legitimate scrutiny.

Washington is broken and WE need to EXPLAIN it to them.

Both parties are playing politics with OUR money.

Whay can't we just pass a Funding Bill that contains ONLY funding for the purpose intended?

The Democrats are certainly no better than the Republicans, Just different "priorities".

The Republican vote was against the IMF AND the loss of the Provision preventing release of Terrorist Detainee "abuse".

NOT against the troops...

In 2012 we must vote for Governor Mitt Romney to become our President starting on January 20, 2013 , because of his superior economic intelligence and conservative right wing philosophy . First Governor Mitt Romney is economically smarter than Barak Obama. Secondly Governor Mitt Romney's superior rightwing conservative philosophy is shown in that he is pro God and Christianity, pro life, pro marriage; pro guns-second amendment, pro low taxes, pro low government spending; pro small government, pro unintrusive government, pro traditional and Judeo Christian values; pro Bible reading and prayer in our public schools, pro Christians schools and private education , pro private and free enterprise; pro military spending, anti arms agreements with Russia, pro creation; pro nuclear, pro conservative supreme court judges, pro American sovereignty; pro capitalism, anti communist, anti socialist; conservative on immigration, and pro constitution. Barack Obama is of the inferior liberal and left wing ideology in that he is against every thing that Governor Mitt Romney is for and Barack Obama is for every thing that Governors Mitt Romney is against

This is the VERY SAME tactic that republicans used over and over the force through pork barrel spending....but now that the shoe is on the other foot, they are crying foul...LOL.

Your party claimed that Democrats that voted against those appropriation filled bills were "voting against our troops", guess what that is EXACTLY what you clowns just did. Good thing the Dems dont need your votes to pass bills any longer.

You elephants are out of power, out of touch and out of tricks. Enjoy the ride.

You are off-base again. Democrats have flipped on this issue, but no mention of that.

The reason Congress attaches unrelated items "no line item veto"

Enough said

No wonder we are trouble. Reporters like you think 5 billion dollars with the possibility of reaching 108 billion dollars are piddling amounts of money. We are in so much trouble I can't see how our grandkids will be able to succeed.
