There is a world of difference in being a bloviating, self-righteous, left-liberal critic on the campaign trail and someone who actually has to make difficult decisions in the real world. Obama is rapidly discovering that talk (no matter how eloquent) is cheap; real change is hard.

I believe Obama comes from the snake oilers of the 1860s'

Dear Mr. Schlesinger,

As a Vulcan, I must protest this analogy. No self-respecting Vulcan would allow himself to be as badly gobsmacked as B.H.Obama allowed himself to be. His "thoughtfulness" is merely the fence-straddling of a political hack who is in over his head. Coming on top of Eric Holder's humiliating performance last week in front of the Senate, it is obvious this administration does not have the intellectual firepower to take on a tribble.

The Vulcan's are dispassionate logic-driven people. To suggest that describes the Left only shows how far the self-delusion has gone by that side.

Very little of the Left's proclaimed (phony) concerns make any logical sense and even less so do thier so-called solutions. And the reason I say that is because so-very-often the Left shows itself to be utterly unconcerned when the things they complain about are done by themselves.

All they want is power and to be able to force everyone to live how they dictate.

One Star Trek analogy I do agree with is that the Muslims are Klingons

This analogy is truer than you know: Mars is a real planet, Vulcan is an imaginary fantasy planet, so Cheney is real and Obama is a made-up fantasy figure, an empty suit, a fiction. Looks like you just dissed your hero, Robert.

Bill Clinton is still around. For a long time, it seemed like we heard and saw as much of Bill as we did of Bush. Bill just could not leave.

So, Cheney must vanish but Bill Clinton is still bleating the same old Bill-Bleat, and that's okay because it's what the left wants to hear?

I can forgive you if you're unfamiliar with Star Trek canon, but the planet Vulcan was entirely destroyed by a terrorist.

Now lets see the birth certificate and let us see college transripts. Bush and Chaney both had theirs printed in the Arizona Republic because as so did Gore.
