I'm sorry, but both of these old farts need to take a seat in the back of the bus. What did they do, take a tour? I can't even visualize either of them having any true knowledge of what the CIA, FBI, HOMELAND SECURITY, the American Red Cross do. It would take professional liaisons to inform the American people about anything as important as our protection, and those set in place to make certain we have no worries. Enemy countries would not be concerned with protecting Americans. When it comes to the safety of my loved ones, whatever works, dear. Go sit down, and let the Big Boys work it out. It is quite possible that Nancy Pelosi is telling her version of the truth. After all, the woman is so utterly stupid that maybe what she is saying is all she actually remembers being told. Her intellect is as miniscule as a tse tse fly's and perhaps she is just an idiot, and her stupidity has simply compounded her ignorance to the point of being ridiculous. Don't give her more credit than she deserves. She is a moron that is being played superbly by the Agency. And, given this mess, we have CIA Director Pannetta over a barrell. He is playing defense with his own work force. I couldn't have designed this better myself.

she was up there among with as senior intelligent comitte, this is funny lies if she say she doesn't know about the memo, because she wana keep that speaker of the house position some something wrong with the president and the vice president than it her turn to become president. She have many years to leak the true out if she think the CIA lies but no she wana keep her position, now she is content for power after Obama screw up she could end up be winer on Democrat Primary Election for the next president election, she just want a reconition within among her party that she could take a shot at the opposition party. Don't tell me she is the number 4 in the most powerful person in the USA that also have access to the Nuke button like the President and she couldn't read what it say on the memo. Only 4 person in the USA have access to the Nuke button. The President, The Vice President, The Speaker of the House, The Secretary of States. U tell me how the hell is the secret being hide from her by the CIA If she can get access to top nuclear arsonel and beyon top secret stuff torture memo ain't it lesser important stuff and she can't handle it maybe she shouldn't the people should trust her with America Nuclear arm stockpiles. How will Obama really handle this?
On one side: Hope and change, let's walk the walk after all this talk about 'Culture of Corruption' (little did we know Bela Pelosi was actually talking about her forthcoming autobiography)
On the other side: He knows where his bread's buttered. You can cast aside a small-time Illinois gov (Blago) cause he matters nothing on the national scale, esp when corruption runs on both sides and is almost a daily thing. But we're dramatically increasing the stakes here, the most powerful elected woman in the world.
You almost have to wonder, if it wasn't for all the Cheney hub-bub, WOULD this ever have seen the light of day? After all, it's not like the appropriately-named "Cold Cash" William Jefferson was immediately tossed away after his general scumbaggery came to light, of course there's the OTHER scumbag William Jefferson as well.

Does anyone think it is alittle odd that ONLY Pelosi was lied to? I havent heard from any other members of Congress or Senate accusing the CIA of lying..... She is lying and failing miserably at it.

If I was a Democrat I would have been awfully embarrassed at the performance of Ms. Pelosi at this press conference. She couldn't speak with clarity, couldn't speak with confidence, couldn't do it without her notes, was nervous like a schoolkid making his/her first ever stand-up presentation....this is someone who speaks the truth??
She was scripted, as she has been for years. Trouble is, between her, her counsel, and her staff, no one has the story right, as Pelosi's contradictory statements over the past few weeks amply demonstrate. She was the ranking minority party leader and on the House Intelligence Committee at the time the interrogation techniques were changed and she and Porter Goss got the same briefings! Want to accuse him of lying and then prove it, Ms. Pelosi?
Here we have the person #3 in line for the Presidency should something befall both Obmana and Biden. What a sorry state of affairs that would be. That the Democratic party saw fit to put this dolt in a leadership position has caused the public to question again the workings of Capitol Hill. No wonder the public's approval rating of Congress was 9-10% vs. Bush's 30%.
She is now a huge political liability.

It eventually had to happen.
For years there has been a bad air around the Bush admin. and now the crap that has been spouted is hitting the fan.
The only two possible outcomes are these:
Pelosi is telling the truth, and the CIA is fingered as a misleading lying organization. What does this mean? Well logically, one would assume that many many people will have to change some of their views on the last administration as they would become "victims" of being misled, much like Pelosi. I would love to hear her asked "In this situation if the CIA is being accused for lying, why can't they also be the culprit for the Bush administration as they would have become victims of bad intelligence much like you? Why is there a double standard when all you did was respond to what you were told and believed to be true just as they did?
or
Pelosi is proven to be lying, and then the republicans gain a foothold based on the poorly qualified leadership of the Speaker of the House. The Democrats will gain a dark cloud as some of them have just tried to bite the hand that has taken part in protecting the lives of Americans.
either way, a special investigation would not prove good for the platform of the democratic party as they have had the luxury of blaming every stupid thing that has happened on the past administration, when in fact, the majority of the men and women in Congress are just as responsible for many of our national and international failures.
But the light at the end of the tunnel. Obama who has acted wisely (so far) in trying to say "this crap ends here" because I am more than certain that he realizes that all this childish bickering is only hurting the ability to push his agenda.
Pelosi's foolishness has just come to light. She should have never accused the CIA of lying on the record, that was just stupid. Especially when you know those guys got dirt on just about everybody. And they are the same people who are currently briefing this current administration.
its time for her to take a hike and invite big gay barney, who is a total mockery of the American government in more ways than one, along for the ride.
