Texas Secession? Perry, One Third of Texans Are Wrong: Texas Can't Secede

It is a sad day indeed when Texans forget they are AMERICANS FIRST and put party affiliation before GOD, COUNTRY and FLAG. If Rick Perry wants to leave the Union then he is welcome to. Turn in your citizenship and move to whatever KKK Utopia you are dreaming of leading. There is certainly no room here in Texas for traitorous unpatriotic outcast. The illegal aliens are more loyal to this country than Rick Perry. Give your citizenship to some illegal that wants to live in the USA on your way OUT the door, Perry!

I vote that the Republican Party secede from the U.S.A. That would rid us of Perry and a host of other nut cases!

I say let them succeed, but first pay me my tax money back! Pay me back for the schools and roads that were built, for the military that has protected them and for the federal dollars that were accepted by Texas politicians!! Can't wait for Texans to show passports when they want to enter Colorado!!!!!! Let the ungrateful bastards leave!

The point here is not TX's desire to secede but...

1) the reality that we are becoming three nations- the two coasts and the heartland. Different philosophies, different needs, impending financial disaster (nat'l debt).

2)No political voice. Control of the Senate, House, and Executive branch by the one party (not in line with the heartland) leaves us without representation.

Frustration with the realities of a failed federal government making no clear attempts to rahabilitate are building.

And you better believe that if the press say's this is fact then it is.

Didn't the Civil War settle all that? Or, did I miss something?

That said, I can certainly appreciate those traditional Texans who appreciate the Constitutional Republic we once enjoyed - I kinda miss it myself...
