If the Norwegian Nobel Committee had any balls at all, immediately following Obama's speech, they would have made a statement to the press stating they were planning to strip him of the prize. The Nobel PEACE Prize that is.

DON'T SEND ANYMORE TROOPS - - UNLESS YOU SEND A SUFFICIENT NUMBER TO GET THE JOB COMPLETED AND UNLESS THEY ARE FURNISHED ADEQUATE TRAINING FOR THAT AREA AND TERRAIN AS WELL AS PROPER WEAPONRY,EQUIPMENT, AND PROTECTIVE GEAR AS WELL AS

ESTABLISHED SUPPLY LINES OPEN TO SUSTAIN THEM FOR THE DURATION OF TIME REQUIRED TO W I N!! DON'T DEPEND ON ANY OF THESE "FRIENDLY" COUNTRIES THAT OFFER THEIR ASSISTANCE, THEN LEAVE OUR TROOPS HIGH AND DRY.

There is no way that the americans can bring democracy and middle class values to this tribal helpless and hopeless backward country permeated with narcotic afflictions for hundreds if not thousands of years.....a victim of their own misguided leaders.....and total submission to the powers that be.....the name of the game is religious slavery.....we came to america to get away from this diaease and we do not need to go back.....period..

I coulda swore Obama was pushing the non-intervention agenda during the election. Did everyone forget about that? I'm sick of corporate america electing professional liars, the best thing we can do is forget these politicians exist and ignore them as much as possible.

4000 troops,

hardly even worth mentioning. Enough troops to fill a medium sized church.

This is not a surge it's a trickle.

And as one reader said, for the last seven years we have heard liberal democrats hammering the president for wanting to send more troops. Now when it's Obama the King we all must bow to his greatness. What a load of garbage.

And as an aside: what are we thinking putting this green president with no financial experience have control over trillions of our tax dollars. This is an amazing FOPA.

And we and our children and grandchildren and likely great grand children are going to pay for this stupidity.

Troop SSurge LOL.

This sounds very familiar, why did the left hate this plan for the last 7 years and now that "The One" suggests it its the greatest thing since sliced bread.

What a liar.

There is no solution for Jihad.. Not in our current age of Islamic Revival.

Only the most savage will survive in the end.

Our society is so disarmed, demoralized, amoralized, and effemitized by the Left... that leaves us out.

They know it.. and we know it.

The "latest" policy revelation by Obama and his lackeys is a rework and "cogent" update of Bush's war strategy.

The overarching question for the Obama team that ridiculed Bush's failures they now must "correct": why haven't the superprez and his experts found and neutralized Usama bin Laden in their weeks in office "it's such a simple solution to AlQaeda dominance in the region, and so easy to focus upon."
