Sexy Sarah Palin—Did Alaska Governor's Looks Undermine Her Political Appeal?

Sarah Palin is only just beginning as a thorn in the side of the liberals. Most people in the United States are good moral people. Once people realize that there is a real alternative to the crap we have been putting up with there will be a historic change in politics. We do not have to put up with thieves and liars running our government. Sarah scares the pants off your everyday politician because they realize that she is just what people have been looking for, an honest person. I know that I had much rather trust the future of our country to someone like Sarah that is seeking God's will than some liberal that is seeking what little money I have. Dare to believe people! A true alternative is at hand.

I read the article where Sarah Palin's beauty is allegedly inverse to her brains. I am a male member of Team Sarah. I am a Southern Baptist minister, single, fifty-three years old single. I quoted the article I read by Politico on this subject on the Team Sarah web site as a blog. Everyone there basically said the idea was bunk, and that it's just one more liberal attack against Sarah Palin. I agree wholeheartedly. Team Sarah is so sick of these liberal media attacks, that Team Sarah has a group on the web site called NewsWatch, specifically to challenge these attacks. I am one such member. So I am doing my part in this group, replying now.

While I'm at it, I might as well treat another old hat subject: that she's allegedly not qualified for national office. I'd like to give just one quick example to challenge that: the December 2008 Alaska Gas Initiative Act. This is a law many people thought would never come to pass. But in Gov. Palin's standard form, she got environmentalists and gas industry people, who had been fighting each other hard for years, to calm down, find common ground and compromise enough to get this bill passed. This is the standard form you would see when it's God's will for her to be in national office: basically the old school of politics where people who usually don't agree put their differences aside enough for the larger good of their constituants to get positive things done, not the win at all cost bipartisan fighting we see in Washington now.

Because I could let it roll and give readers a book instead of a quick e-mail, I will close off with a few words: Be on the lookout: Gov. Sarah Palin's national political career by all means has only begun. And, the reason why liberals fight her so hard so often is exactly because they know the threat she is to liberalism. So hold on to your hats when you hear "Sarah Palin" in the future.

Shelly again I find you! On ANOTHER forum about Sarah Palin even though in everything you say about her you say "I WISH SHE WOULD GO AWAY!" Wow, for someone who claims to be sooo sick of hearing about her you sure spend a lot of time searching for her don't you? You are the epitome of a ugly, jaded, unachieved, marmish woman that is jealous of Sarah and so tries to bring her down so you don't feel bad for being a failure! What have YOU done with YOUR life? Besides spend your days going from Sarah forum to Sarah forum to bash her? Nothing you even say about Sarah is true, it is all rumors, came from EDITED interviews is misinformation or blatent lies. Not ONE things you said about her in your post was true..NOT ONE! Anyway you are just so ridiculous why do I waste my time on you? So I was going to say....Sarah is brillant! Her ideas are breathtaking and her beauty only enhances her! She is what this nation will need to push forward in four years when we are in a proverbial cold war state ! GO SARAH 2012!! I trust you !!!

If most women were comfortable in their own skin they wouldn't be jealous/envious of Sarah Palin's attractiveness. I worked in a G.M. factory and when management started to elevate women to foreman - i.e. "boss" status - I recall my women co-workers stating that they weren't going to take any orders from another woman. Women are the worst critic's of other women and this is the issue that needs to be studied. It's apparent that (some) women are very uncomfortable around a woman that is their superior whether it be in looks, brains or power. And I'd chance to guess that most of these "critics" would classify themselves as feminists.

We should be applauding Sarah Palin and other women in power who can maintain their feminity and sexiness while holding, what in the past, had been men only jobs. Why is OK for a man to be handsome, cute, and sexy - as I constantly am being reminded of this newly elected president - and yet this is means for DISQUALIFICATION if it's a woman? This makes no sense ladies. I think we need some self analysis of ourselves and stop these jealous rantings aimed at Sarah Palin and/or Hillary Clinton and come to the realization that you don't like these kind of women because YOU DON'T LIKE YOURSELF.

The writer of this is female BTW and I am not sexy nor do I consider myself very smart but I AM COMFORTABLE IN MY OWN SKIN and I have nothing but admiration and respect for other women that have attributes that I don't have. Let's elevate these women and stop trying to tear them down.

People didn't vote for McCain because of McCain. He is waaayyyyy too liberal for the Republican ticket. The only reason he got as many votes as he did was because of Palin. She brought in votes that he never would have gotten without her.

Her looks are irrelevant, she has the smarts and common sense that America and the world needs. And the left's fear and lies about her are very telling.

Sara Palin in 2012!

It is so hillarious to read here all the hate mail from DemRATS about Sarah. About how she is not smart, stupid etc. And they themselves elected a guy who is walking around with his teleprompter like Charlie Brown and his blanket. No wonder he didn't want to do those townhalls with McCain. He would look an idiot like he did at Rick Warren summit. And then the DemRats and FemiNazis have the decency to say to us that the messiah is smarter than Sarah. The Dow is tanking and the number of unemployed is rising fast. So much about Barry's wisdom and intelligence.

Many Republicans refused to vote for McCain because he chose Palin. And she certainly didn't make much headway with Independents. Why the GOP thinks she so great is mystifying, since to win, they have to have the independent voters with them.

There are plenty of good-looking women in government, most of whom do not hire stylists to put on their false eyelashes and heavy makeup every day. About 20 years ago, every serious young professional or business woman knew that "sexy" and "unserious" were adjectives that went together. It isn't different now. Of course good looks are helpful, but only if they are the appetizer, not the main course. In Palin's case, good looks are all she has.

It doesn't matter what she looked like, she was a hard core conservative and a Christian... then she opened her mouth and it was obvious that God's blessings stopped at 'skin deep'.

this one was funny: "The woman, is smart, polished and articulate"

Smart-- yes, she's working the system for all its worth. I see she's thrown over right to life.. guess a pro-environment judge was worse than one who will okay the continued killing of babies.

Polished-- yup, that cost the RNC about $10k/wk (more than any other advisor on the team!) At those rates, she had better have looked polished

Articulate-- HUH? Have you, like, then again, also, heard her, then again, like, speak without, also, too a written, again, speach? The woman can't form a sentence! Never mind that she doesn't have any thoughts (beyond oil and self promotion) to express. Could you imagine the poor interpreter trying to work with her in an international situation!

"Too Pretty"... that is so funny! Next, someone will determine that she's "too smart" for us to grasp just how, like, again, ALSO, smart, again, she is.

Republicans had better get their crap together and find someone, anyone! with a brain. At this rate, I'm starting to look at the Libertarians as "not so bad"... and in my area, they all look like they were let out of a looney bin for the meetings and all talk about black helocopters!
