Schlesinger Makes His Presidential Election Picks Between Barack Obama and John McCain

As it stands now, it looks like Obama, but not by much. I agree that we will probably have a conservative Republican President in 2012 in the event of an Obama win. Obama presents a good front, as long as he has cue cards in place, but has no substance. The problem will be that we will be four years behind, as far as the economy goes, and terrorism will gain big ground in those years. It may be that no one will have to worry about who wins in 2012. In any case, I for one will retire early rather than pay more taxes to an Obama government, and take my turn grabbing for all the government handouts. Why should anyone work, just to pay taxes for all the losers who won't work? I have had my fill of that and don't intend to do any more of it.
