Sarah Palin's International Debut: All Friends, No Media

Seeing and listening to the PANIC of the left--the lies and spin going on about McCain and Sarah...along with the incredible silence and/or denial with respect to the radical/un-american associations of Obama, it does my heart good to see that there are intelligent people out there, not buying one bit of it.

And as for Mark, best you go back to your far left Controllers (MoveOn etc) and have them zap you with better talking points.

As far as women are concerned, Palin is an embarrassment. As a candidate, whomever it may be, you have to know you will be asked questions and your private life is no longer private. If she wanted to remain an unknown she should have stayed in Alaska. Females thought she would show that women can handle pressure and whatever comes to them. How can you harp on your having presidential skills than hide behind someone else. Eleanor Roosevelt, Kay Hutchison, Liz Dole, Hillary Clinton,Condelizza Rice even Harriet Miers had the guts to face reporters and many other women in public life have also been attacked but where able to deal with it. Palin is marketed as being, independent and outspoken, tough as a pit bull. Then, why is she being hidden and shielded by the Republican Party--could it be she can only handle scripted speeches and we all have heard the same speech for the past three weeks? If you can't handle the heat then stay out of the kitchen! What people are thinking now is perhaps she is not ready to be VP, what are they going to do gag her for the next four years? We want a women who is confident, intelligent and prepared to handle herself no matter where she goes and no matter what questions are asked of her. For now, Sorry Charlie, she does not get a thumbs up from many females--just a sigh of embarrassment.

She already has released her tax returns. Her husband made about $93,000 last year and she made @$125,000. It sounds like a lot of money to some people, to others, not so much. There's nothing to hide there.

Oh,...and Joe Biden and his wife gave a whopping $300 in charitable giving last year. They love the common man so much, don't they?

Last time I checked, the great and mighty Barack Obama has submitted to only one "real" press conference, one from which he left early, frustrated, claiming, "It was too hard."

If the Obama camp is so open with access, why haven't they released basic items like his birth certificate, his State Senate schedule, his master's thesis, or his full medical record instead of an evasive single page? What are THEY afraid of? I don't hear any reporters complaining about accountability regarding the messiah.

I'm so sick of the double standard in the media. I can't imagine what a current journalism student must think as they sit in college classes when "impartiality" is discussed. How they must laugh to themselves!

She makes great photo ops as long as her mouth is shut. It's like at an old time beauty contest, where only at the end, the girls were asked one question to which they could always "wish for world peace". If they are so worried about what she might say or do, does that say that anyone on THEIR side believes she's READY?

Another question. If Sarah Palin looked like one of the mooose she shoots, do you think she'd have been asked to this prom?

An offended woman worte this.

I will take a Hillary any day. Hillary made women stand head to head with men on the issues. She was tough, and ready to take charge. On the other hand, Palin makes us look like puppets on a string with her rehearsed lines, no command of the issues and her fear of the media.

She is a symbol of aggressive IGNORANCE , HYPOCRISY and ARROGANCE engulfing the GOP. They are 'dito' BUSH the 3rd reincarnation. They are acting as if they are opposition party although their party in power for 8 yrs, has brought the country to it's knee! The word 'CHANGE' is a BIG JOKE

In summary, She is an embarrassment even as VP candidate for this Nation in front of the World. Her selection is a reflection of GOP out of touch with reality and their supporters.

We need Sarah, she's a woman with high morals and that's what we need here in America these days.....Aside she's cute(Michelle you are jeolous!!!),Sarah loves America and for sure she will not sell America to the terrorists or to the radicals...More power to McCain and Palin!!!!!

Trophy allies? Listen up, Bobster: the US alliance with Colombia is significantly different from the US alliance with Georgia. While I'll give you the 'trophy' designation for the latter, Colombia is NO trophy ally. It has plenty of money and can pay for what it needs to defeat terror. The problem is that the US is loaded with Lindsay Lohan types and probably pals of yours who think snorting cocaine is fine and dandy. The US is the world's largest consumer of cocaine. With that in mind, the US gives Colombia cash to fight narcoterror as a SHARED responsibility. To call self-sufficient Colombia a trophy ally is an insult. Get wise about the different countries out there and the nature of the alliances will you? Colombia is NO trophy ally!

I can't imagine why anyone would support this reactionary NUT, especially a woman. This brings new meaning to the word "absurd"

And to think that McSame is protecting her like a delicate flower... She needs to PROVE her worth before we elect her, just like anyone else. Throw her into the fire!!!! I want to see how she holds up. I'll bet her approval rating will fall even further into the abyss. Those of you approving this lunacy need your heads examined. Sarah Palin is a NUT JOB and it would be DANGEROUS to elect McSame.
