"We always kill the thing we love" In his case the honor of acting honorably in a military situation doesn't necessarily transfer politically. Truth be known that if weren't for his wife's extreme wealth he would, after service , have ended up as retired military collecting his pension. OBSCURE

McCain continues to advocate deregulation of the health industry citing the banking industry as the example we should all look too as an example of success. He seems to hope the reality of the dergulation of the banking idustry is lost on the average voter and that they will not connect the two.

Hey the basic problem is the that the spending binge and the war created a surplus of money. This money eventually found its way to the financial markets and banks. What do banks do... they loan money. Since they could not unload all the money to credit worthy individuals. They had to loosen the requirements or just buy bonds. Also, the loan officers may have had quota's to place the money just like in the 1973-75 years when the REITS went under.

Maybe it is not as simple as you journalist and talking heads think... maybe it could be blamed on the people at the bottom trying to make their quota.

I was somewhat amused by the NJGuardian's claim that John McCain is "the only honest and straightforward man in this campaign." While Obama has certainly distorted McCain's statements like being prepared to stay in Iraq "for the next 100 years," NJGuardian must have blinders on.

The McCain "straight talk express" claims that Obama supports sex education for kindergardeners. Of course, that "education" only refers to telling toddlers how to avoid or report a sex predator--some "straight talk," isn't it?

SNL hit it right on the head with their McCain skit this past weekend--"Obama supports tax breaks for pedophiles." Well, for NJGuardian that must not be too much of a stretch since some middle income pedophiles will benefit from Obama's proposed middle class tax cut.

He is more honist then Obana. Rezio bought and paid for

his home in an up scale neighborhood of Chicago district. He

has been indited by the grand jury. Obanas connections to known

communists and terrorist are many. More people are killed in

Chicago than in Iraq. Democrats bring in the loans where no

money down and low interest rate for a short period of time was

was inacted on Pres. Clinton"s term. Now they have defaulted

because their period of loans are up. He's not an honest man.

We are getting pretty sick and tired of this media enfatuation with Obama. John McCain is the only honest and stright forward man in this campaign.

You know it -- most importantly WE KNOW IT and we see your agenda clearly.

Maybe it's not so bad if the "old media" dies off.

Anyone who actually believes this waco had better have their heads examined. This guy has been in lock-step with Phil Gramm since the S&L crisis, through the Enron Fraud and now this, the worst financial crisis since the great depression. GIVE US A BREAK MCCAIN

RICHARD P. JAGIELSKI of FL 1:26PM September 22, 2008

If McCain decides to try and ride doom & gloom to the white house as Barack Obama is doing, then all is lost. But you'd like that, huh? Fundamentals are not the same thing as feelings. Democrats can't distinguish between the two, and it's not in their interests to have voters distinguish between them.

Govt. doesn't "create" jobs. Obama's not created a job in his entire pampered life. How is that going to work now by simply handing him and Nanny Pelosi/Harry Reid complete power? When have these Democrats created jobs? When have they ever proved competent to do anything other than raise taxes and increase the burdens on small business? What have they done for domestic energy supplies? To this day they stand in the way of developing our own resources. Obama is promising the worst is yet to come as he'll force more artificial constraints on Our own supplies over the next 10 years. We are nothing more to Democrats but game pieces to be moved around in their pseudo-intellectual theories in-practice. If you like being a rat in their endless experiments, Obama's your kid. If you like the idea of a guy who can't even distinguish between a human life writhing in a hospital storeroom after a failed abortion and that successful abortion of "cancerous-like tissue", then Barack Obama might be your spiritual mentor. If you hate America as much as Obama's prime associates in life, you have a home with Barack. He knows why the hate is justified. He'll explain all After he's elected.
