Cindy McCain's $300,000 Outfit

September 4, 2008 RSS Feed Print

ST. PAUL—Remember Pat Nixon's "respectable Republican cloth coat?" It's come a long way, baby.

To wit: According to Vanity Fair, Laura Bush's outfit cost between $3,400 and $4,300. But of course that's chump-change compared to the roughly $300,000 that Cindy McCain's cost (the biggest line-item being $280,000 for three-karat diamond earrings).

For those of you keeping track at home, Cindy McCain's outfit could pay for a four bedroom, three bath, 3,400 square feet house in Wasilla.

what is wrong with cindy mccain to spend this much for an outfit? NOTHING... if she could afford it ..fine.. its totally up to her..

People up there^^ dont be hating her just because her family is rich. life is unfair so deal with it.. these outfits are so much more pleasing and eye appealing than the off the shoulder tops that michelle obama wears. People like Cindy Mccain and Sarah Pailin would actually spend more money to buy more classy suits. Anyone can buy a cheap prositute "suit".

She cannot help that she is born into a rich family.

These so called Christians crack me up. They all like to think they are such good Christians, meanwhile they're richer than God himself. It's obscene to be this wealthy and not know how many houses you own, seriously, Jesus would be ashamed of you Republicans. Greed used to be one of the seven deadly sins, now it's a Republican virtue.

When your personal wealth is estimated at $100,000,000 (that's 8 zeroes folks) I doubt a $300,000 outfit is nothing she even thinks twice about.

There is no way that family can understand normal working people.
