John McCain's "house" gaffe—he couldn't give a straight answer to the seemingly direct question: How many houses do you own?—could get traction in terms of dispelling the myth that the multimillionaire son of admirals has more of the common touch than the Chicago community organizer.

But if you haven't seen it, check out the Obama campaign's new commercial capitalizing on McCain's comment. Is it just me, or are they also making an age dig against the senior senator from Arizona?

Here's the Obama ad:

If you can't play the video, here's the key line: "When asked how many houses he owns, McCain lost track—he couldn't remember."

Lost track...couldn't remember. Do you think they'd have chosen that phrasing if it was Obama versus, say, Mitt Romney? Neither do I.

What was he thinking when he was asked that question. Even I would have said "It's irrelevant, the only house that is important to me would be the White House if you elect me as President, that would be my house." Instead he said " Ask my staff"? Is he too old to think quick? If I was running for president the first house that would come to my mind would be "THE WHITE HOUSE".

I still don't know who to vote for, being a Vietnam veteran myself does not sway my vote. Yes,we served our country proudly, but to lead it, we need a person that can think and react quickly. When I was shot at in Vietnam did I say, I would have to ask my staff to shoot back. People can choose the best President by how they respond to questions thrown at them.

If they respond quickly and you like their answer, then he or she is your best choice to lead this country. Not the words, I'll get back, ask my staff, ect. WE THE PEOPLE NEED A DIRECT,TRUTHFUL AND POSITIVE ANSWER NOW!

I get upset when people talk about age limit. A person age 18 or 25 may be as old as 81, physically or mentally. Every one is different, judge the fitness by the mental and physical conditions, not by age PLEASE!
